[LFP] [Werewolf the Forsaken 2nd Ed.] Sunday 11:30 am PST

Mature Content(18+) Game time: Starting January 8th, every Sunday at 11:30 am PST Werewolf the Forsaken: Reclamation "The Great Smokey Mountains. For years it was under the control of the Pure, until one day we won the war for control. The Forsaken Packs of Knoxville, Johnson City, and Asheville combined to push the Pure out of the Smokey Mountains...at least for now. Unless we occupy that land, it will fall into the hands of our hated brethren once again. That's where you pups come in. Young as your pack is, it's one of the few chosen to claim this new territory. You must be thinking that this is some great gift. While indeed it is, let me warn you, pup. For two hundred years the Pure have controlled most of that range, and they aren't about to let us keep it anytime soon. Reinforcements are coming, and you'll be on the front line. And while the Pure has controlled that land, rest assured the spirits in the Smoky Mountains have been out of control. Gatlinburg, the town you are about to control, is a resort town. Millions flock there to experience the sunny side of mountain living, while staying far away from the more dour aspects of such a life. What they also don't see are the things from the Hisil that have been preying on these visitors for years. I can't say getting control of the Gatlinburg area is going to be easy, pups. Nor can I tell you it's a suicide mission. We just don't know what is out there. Never the less, your oath compels you to reclaim the land, and bring balance. So go forth. The territory is yours for the taking. Take it, and hold on for dear life." -Dr. Martin 'Bone-Weaver' Danziger, Cahalith Bone Shadow of the Rocky Top Pack of Knoxville This game will be using the Chronicles of Darkness rule system, and more specifically the Werewolf the Forsaken 2nd Edition setting. This game is centered on the pack your werewolf (Uratha) is a part of, and the territory you all have to maintain. In addition, this game will also start to do troupe play, that is, playing the wolf-blooded and human members of the pack when a scene calls for it. The general tone of this game doesn't just revolve around brutal combat, though there will definitely be times when shredding flesh and/or spirit will be the center of activity--this is werewolf after all. On an equal footing, though, is the social aspect of the game. Who your pack deals with, whether they be humans or spirits or other supernatural beings, will impact the territory you live in. The roles auspices bring in the game is also very important. Each will serve an important role to pack. In other words, it will not work too well if everyone is a blood thirsty Blood Talon Rahu. Characters will start out as newer Uratha, and I’m toying with the idea of each having been from a different pack whose members gave up in order to form a new pack dedicated to claiming the territory taken from the Pure. This is still up in the air, but it could make for some interesting RP--the characters are not only discovering things about their new territory, but also about each other.
