PREMADE PC!?!?!?! *spit on the ground and makes the sign of the cross* ;P Just kidding. i do not have premades and will not be making the character the players will be doing that together. What part implied I had premade characters? We'll randomly generate the character body type (robot, human, alien, god,etc..) . Which then brings them to a different chart with different percentages to then randomly generate the 7 base stats. (fighting, strength, smarts, quickness,etc..) Then there is huge wonderful chart to randomly generate which powers a characters gets. (mind control, lighting eyes, bed making, etc) Then normally the system wants you to randomly generate the strength of the powers. I like this, but enough people have complained about it that i'm going to have a point buy system here to select you powers-strength, and character resources, and popularity. Then my favorite part. The player with the DM (me) figures out what kind of hero this could be, and weaknesses. And it's not in the rules but i will discuses and give out side effect powers based on what the player comes up with. (If a players has laser hands and flight, and decides he's like Ironman. Then i'll give him some body armor and computer skills. and mock him for not thinking of something wackier. :P ) I'm using the FASERIP system period. Not sure about the marvel universe. I 'm not a fan of having magic, micro-verse, mutants, cosmic beings all together for an RPG game. It makes it hard to make a story everyone cares about. I'd like all the players to some how share an origin. So any plot progression will affect everyone. The "MOST OF" the Marvel ultimate universe is a good example of this. because just about everything was 'trying to make the new super solider'. yet still allow a lot of room for character to be their own thing. Or more limited in scope Static Shock, all the superhuman were made in the same super-science explosion. I may have parts of marvel's universe or may not. I will be taking heavy suggestions from what the players want over all. I'm hoping for a cosmic game!
