"application/octet-stream" problem

Every time I navigate to a page that has "https://app.roll20.net" in it I get a request to download something called a "application/octet-stream" file, usually named something related to what I was trying to access on the website. I have no idea what's going on but I can't access anything most of the time because it just asks me to download the file and doesn't send to to the page I'm looking for. Please, I just want to use the site and I don't know what to do.
It even asked me to download one when I tried to post this originally, I don't know why it worked this time...
I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the site. Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!
I'm using Firefox, which is up to date, and I have cleared my cache. I use Bitdefender, however, and I don't know of a way to turn it off without uninstalling it...
Okay, I turned off my firewall and my antivirus. Still having the problem.

Yes I disabled everything! Problem persists when using chrome. Also, I don't know if this will help, but whenever I try to join the one game I have managed to create a large amount of code pops up and it doesn't even get to a loading screen. Moving on to step 4.
1. Description of issue provided in introductory post 2. Also provided already... 3. My computer's Settings 3a. Firefox 3b. 50.1.0 3c. Windows 10 3d. Yes 3e. Bitdefender Total Security 2017 3f. None 4. Provided above
Has this problem never happened before?

Is that what you needed?
Adam K. said: Is that what you needed? Almost; after you have opened the Console like you did in the above image, refresh the page and wait for one minute. Afterwards, copy the contents of the Console Log into a reply to this thread.
UPDATE: I can sometimes get to where I want to go on the site by clicking the cancel button on the download request and clicking the link again. This doesn't work on all links though... Also, I have been able to get into the game space by clicking the X next to the address bar and then refreshing the page. This also, does not always work.
The character encoding of the plain text document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the file needs to be declared in the transfer protocol or file needs to use a byte order mark as an encoding signature. editor Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at self (“script-src https://app.roll20.net 'unsafe-eval' https://*.googlesyndication.com https://*.doubleclick.net https://partner.googleadservices.com https://www.googletagservices.com https://ssl.google-analytics.com https://www.google-analytics.com https://ajax.googleapis.com http://ajax.googleapis.com https://d3clqjduf2gvxg.cloudfront.net https://cdn.firebase.com https://*.firebaseio.com https://*.tokbox.com https://*.opentok.com http://static.opentok.com http://www.google-analytics.com http://cdn.crowdin.com https://crowdin.com http://stun.l.google.com”). editor:12 Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at self (“script-src https://app.roll20.net 'unsafe-eval' https://*.googlesyndication.com https://*.doubleclick.net https://partner.googleadservices.com https://www.googletagservices.com https://ssl.google-analytics.com https://www.google-analytics.com https://ajax.googleapis.com http://ajax.googleapis.com https://d3clqjduf2gvxg.cloudfront.net https://cdn.firebase.com https://*.firebaseio.com https://*.tokbox.com https://*.opentok.com http://static.opentok.com http://www.google-analytics.com http://cdn.crowdin.com https://crowdin.com http://stun.l.google.com”). editor:13 70 app.js:31:3522 TOUCH SUPPORTED: false app.js:31:28736 USING WEBGL ACCELERATION... app.js:31:29557 WEBGL STARTUP SUCCESS app.js:31:30146 Custom Sheet Translation app.js:33:13872 RTCIceServer.url is deprecated! Is that better?
Thank you. I've brought your issue to the attention of the Roll20 Dev Team, who will take a look.
How long does something like this usually take? Will they contact me through the Roll20 PM system?
A member of the Dev Team will reply to this thread. The Dev Team is currently very busy working on WebRTC Video and Voice Chat Issues .
Okay, I'll keep refreshing the page.
Also, I still have the problem with the "application/octet-stream" files. For example: I get asked whether I want to download one whenever I click on my name (or anyone else's name) in the forums, even on this very page. Also also, don't know if this is relevant, but I paid for a monthly subscription but I still can't access API settings on the campaign details page. Don't know if that is related or if I'm just being dumb, but I thought I'd mention it.

The API Scripts page is only available for Games created by a user that currently has an active Pro (not Plus) subscription.
