Campaigns Are Choppy/Poor Performance

Greetings. I have recently purchased a new monitor and GPU after during a 2-month hiatus in my campaign. Opening it up for the first time today, I notice that the game is very choppy and I am experiencing poor performance. It is not my internet connection, as webpages are loading instantaneously and my campaign and others load in a matter of seconds. Handout pictures load for no longer than a second, etc. What is choppy is when I move a token or create a selection box. It lags behind the mouse (and looks very choppy like it is going at a framerate lower than 20). Before this upgrade back in November, tokens and selection boxes would glide smoothly across the screen with my mouse pointer. So I'm convinced it is the monitor (which is an upgrade in resolution from my last one) or maybe the GPU (again, an upgrade from my last one). Opening other campaigns, and creating brand new ones , creates the same result. Still choppy. Specs: - Intel i7-5820K 12-Cores 3.3GHz - 32GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 8GB VRAM (Upgraded from a GTX 980Ti) - ASUS ROG PG278Q Black 27" WQHD 2560 x 1440, 144 Hz 1ms (GTG) NVIDIA G-Sync Gaming Monitor (Upgraded from an Acer 1080p LED monitor Internet is also 75 mbps and with a constantly excellent connection where I live. So I'm convinced it is a hardware issue. The browser I am using is Google Chrome, currently up-to-date. Thank you for your time.

I'm sorry you're having issues with the site. Let's start with working through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues . Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!
After trying out Firefox, it seems to be running buttery smooth. I would hate to switch away from Google Chrome, but it seems I must unless the issue with Chrome can be fixed?
Is hardware acceleration disabled on Chrome , by chance? I would also try entering a game via Chrome's private/incognito mode.
Ah, it was. That actually fixed it! Thank you very much for the help, friends.
Great! Happy rolling!
