What is the character sheet macro actually look like?

So, I hope I am explaining this correctly since I am unable to screenshot it at work.  You know on the character sheet under attack/weapons, you can type in like "shortsword" and plug in d6 and modifiers.  Well when you click it from the character sheet it makes a nice pretty little box that rolls the d20 for attack hit, BUT it doesn't roll damage until you click on the actual weapons name in the chat box.  How can I make that into a macro.  Here's what I am trying to do: I am making some mooks that are linked to a generic character sheet and I want token macros attached to that sheet.  I want their attacks when I click the macro for the mook token to look like it came from the character sheet; as in, it shows a nice pretty d20+modifiers number at the top followed by range then the name of the weapon below that in a plain white box with black outline; THEN, if my attack hits, when I click the weapon it will roll the appropriate damage die and all.  I don't want to have to have different character sheets open all the time.

Whenever you roll a macro from a sheet, you can click in chat, and press the ^ key to get the exact text used for the macro.
Is that Shift+6 key?  If so, I'm not seeing anything.  Also, I do see some info when I just mouse over it, but all it says is the roll command with the modifiers and the end result as =.  Nothing about the actual formatted macro, like the actual command to pull from that sheet and the plain white box with black outline.  Am I still missing something?
