First off, I am on Central Time (GMT -6:00). I've never DM'd before, and I have only a little experience with Pathfinder as a player, but I've invested an enormous amount of time on D&D boards, watching vidcasts, and reading the core rules and bestiary, so I have a pretty good grasp on the rules. I would like to run a pretty standard fantasy campaign using the pathfinder rules but set in a simple homebrew world that would allow me to incorporate player backstories and events of the campaign with ease. To that end I am looking for 3-5 maximum players of similar experience to myself and each-other who would be interested in such a game. If I can put together such a group I will begin working on the campaign in earnest, taking cues from my players in order to craft a mutually enjoyable experience for us all. The only things I ask before you petition to join are these: Have access to the Core Rulebook in some format, these are the rules I will be using to start with and you cannot play without being able to reference them. Have a relatively flexible schedule. I am not always going to be able to run the game at the same time each week given that I have a job. I will, however, be able to post my schedule for the coming week every Sunday and work with the group to decide on a play time. Have webcam and microphone of some kind, whether headset or otherwise. My players will always be able to see me and I'd like to be able to see them, it makes things easier if I can put a face to every voice and is just generally a better experience than talking away at four silent avatars who only respond via chat. Be forgiving. I'm taking this on out of a love for tabletop gaming and because there is a pretty heavy ratio of players to DMs that can make finding a game for newer players really difficult. I'd like this to be a fun learning experience but that can only happen if we're all willing to learn and play together. If this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, let me know. Tell me a little about yourself and your level of experience, and if you have a character in mind, go ahead and share it. The more I know about you the easier it will be to put together a group that will get along well, and that's my primary concern at this point. There's no point in moving ahead if I'm not confident that my players will be cooperative and reliable; actually showing up to games and playing, or if I can't tell that there's any interest in this kind of campaign. If get enough quality responses, I'll put together a shortlist and start contacting players to learn a little more about them before deciding on a final group. I think that's everything, I hope this is something y'all will be as excited about as I am and that something actually comes of it. -Will
