[5e Community] Class Actions triggering on specific weapons

I have some lovely weapons from my DM, and some of the abilities I have put into the Class Action group.  However, the class actions only apply to the specific weapons, and not *all* melee ones.  Is there a way of setting up the "output options" so it only triggers on a specific weapon instead of all of them?

You would need to build a macro from the ground up for those weapons. There is no built in way for the sheet to differentiate between weapons.

And where would I look to learn how to build such macros?  I can code, so it will be an interesting learning exercise if nothing else

The best way to see how the macro is built up using the roll template is to click on the up arrow in the chat window after you have performed the action, then you can see all the code that went into the macro.  You can see the breakdown of most of the parts for the roll template in this reddit thread  here . There have been a few additions since then, but most of it is the same.
