Premade PF Character; Looking for A Group

Good evening, everyone. I've recently joined this community and overall, I've been just very confused by the way the information has been structured. I'm sure there are channels through which I may receive the information that I am looking for. It's my hope that this post does not appear too cluttered as I try to convey what I'm looking and what I have to offer. I have a premade character for another campaign. However, this campaign is little too sporadic for my taste, so I would like to play in another campaign as well to get a better feeling of what my character needs and wants. Game Information System: Pathfinder Makes use of 3rd Party?: Yes, The Noble Wild: An Animal Player's Handbook for Fantasy Roleplaying for ferret racial traits and humanoid familiars. Makes use of Homebrew?: Yes, Enforcer feat may also be used for nonlethal magic. Sheet-link: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=693447 Role: Controller-Caster Setting: Any High Fantasy with familiar-esque creatures. Basic Information: Timezone : GMT+1 [Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin] Time Range: [17.00 - 00.00] GMT +1 Player/GM: Definitely a player. New?: Not really, but I'm discovering new things every day. Type: Roleplayer, Anti-Slayer Other Information: My lifestyle can at best be described as, well, poor. I've very little time to myself and I can technically not afford to procrastinate. However, as everyone else on the internet, of course I will procrastinate given the opportunity. I love to roleplay; it's my favorite way to spend my time. Gladly, I will skip sleep if that means that I can sit down with a few people and narrate the story of my character. However, since I'm so short on time, I'm forcing myself to be a bit picky. I'm not adverse for combat encounters, but you won't see me being patient about it. I have a tendency to just get to work immediately to end the combat encounter as fast as possible. I don't like combat encounters to drag on, so if you're not the kind of group which avoids spending more than two hours on combat each session, than I'm probably not your guy. You are welcome to contact me through skype (sacredless).
As a GM I'd have to say that I'd never even consider allowing you to join my game, for a multitude of reasons. First of all, after reading your post you come off sounding extremely pretentious. I know it's difficult to convey tone through text alone but that is certainly the first impression I get and with the wording you chose it would be difficult for someone to convince otherwise. The biggest thing I can point to that really makes you seem like that is the part where you say you're here despite having little time. That makes it seem like you seem to think that your time is far more valuable than that of the GM or the other players and that you're doing everyone a favor by even making this post. If your time is just so valuable, then why are you going to risk that time investment with playing Pathfinder online? You then go on to say that the GM should design their encounters around the fact that your so strapped for time. If the GM has a particular encounter design in mind, but it conflicts with your time constraints somehow, you're saying that they should scrap it and figure something else out just because you simply don't have time for it? So now you've not only said that your time is more important than everyone else but that the rest of the group, the GM included, should be forced to have a potentially watered down experience because you simply don't have time for the encounter to play out the way the GM wants it to? You should know that for the most part you're extremely lucky when you find a group that meets for more than a couple of sessions before everyone stops showing up. It's very difficult to retain players when playing online. You consider yourself lucky if you even get a heads up from them telling you why they're quitting, much less that they're even quitting at all. With all that said, since your time is so valuable, I'd strongly suggest that you not try to play online games through Roll20. You're going to find that more often than not you'll set aside your precious time only to find that you don't have enough people to play. Other group members will have decided that they're just not interested any longer.and totally stop showing up. Leaving you with a block of time that you set aside and could have been spent doing something else. Now that all of that is out of the way, you're also going to have a problem finding groups when you want to use third party stuff. Most GMs will immediately dismiss it out of hand without even looking at it. Third party stuff makes people nervous because they're not sure how balanced it will be and so they just avoid any potential balance issues by not allowing it in their games. I honestly wish you luck in finding a GM who will let you use that character but it wouldn't surprise me if you are unable to do so.
Hm. Galen, perhaps you've read too much into what I've said. It might be that I remind you of someone who would genuinely act in such a way, but I do not. I do not believe that my time is more valuable. I'm simply saying that I will most likely end up having to make choices and what the motivation behind those choices are going to be. That I'm not as enthusiastic about combat and more so about figuring out characters and I hope to find a group which agrees to that. I am simply looking for a group which shares my needs and interests. I'm looking for a group which doesn't have to adapt to me in the first place. I'm here despite having little time because I love to roleplay. It's my favorite way to spend my time. I am a bit picky about allocating my final piece of time. Sue me.
I've edited my post to be a bit clearer about my preferences, Galen! I hope that helps. :)
