Hi I am currently looking to form a 4 to 5 people group that can get together and play weekly. Hopefully this group will get along and over time become friends to have a long lasting game. I have around 5 months of dungeon master experience and 3 months as a player. Overall, I am fairly new player of Dungeons and Dragons. I want a long term game where characters can grow, train and make choices. I want a grittier, mature, RP experience where encounters are serious and sometimes the choice might simply be not to fight. I aim to have fun on every session. For example, I'd love for the various tool proficiencies and skills to come more into play than they seem to in a more "casual" game as it gives extra purpose to group members and reasons for them to be working together despite different backgrounds. This all kind of sounds like I want a rather serious game, but I think it can be challenging and complex without sacrificing it being laid back. Eventually, I want to earn dungeon master experience and actually use the dungeon master guide book. Everyone wants to have a great time while playing, that is why I would want to know what the players expect. So on Monday, I would really like to have a "Session 0" with everyone to go over your characters and expectations for the game. Most importantly would be to get a feel for one another. Session 0 would be held on Monday January 2. We can discuss either to meet on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. Please apply only if you are looking for a long term group and have an availability for such days. This will help us all with the character/story development and continuity. With this in mind, please check out my post if you are interested: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/65298/long-term...
