Roll20 ... Great for Live games?

Hey all, Just had a thought to go along with my morning java... Roll20 would make an excellent DM/GM/et al tool for live RP sessions. Any GMs/DMs out there using Roll20 in their live sessions? I'm thinking the benefits would be tremendous. And just imagine if you've got ability to stream CPU content to an HDTV! Battlemaps and tokens on a 42 inch screen would really bring some life to game sessions. And the Jukebox for finding that great bit of music or sound effect to really spruce up a scene. Just a thought.

The only unusual thing about using roll20 for a live session is that you would need 2 windows/displays. One for the player acting as the GM, and one for everyone else to view (such as something up on an HDTV) such that proprietary/secret GM info would not be visible on the large display. However, this is relatively simple to do with the right setup (or some jury rigging), and I would agree that if/when i'm able to run live sessions again, it would definitely use roll20 in some capacity.

We've used Roll20 for our office games. Started out using Maptools but found R20 to be much less hassle. DM could work from their laptop while a player could plug into the projector for everyone to see. Started off with a single player controlling the tokens or passing a wireless mouse. Dice rolls were done with real dice. As folks from remote offices and work-from-home joined in it was easy to transition to everyone having their own screen. This is also great as I sometimes GM but don't always make it to the office and can still run the game. We've recently started with Next and play more theater of the mind, but dice rolls for remotes still happen in R20 and the DM started using it for some combat maps.
