Uploading images to separate journals/character sheets and saving upload space.

I've recently been skirting my my upload limit due to creating a few decks and having images displayed for the cards. I've been trying to reduce the amount of artwork I upload for my campaign now and have been paying particular attention to things that get uploaded multiple times. Here's where I discovered my problem. When I upload an image to a character's journal, it gets added to my library and counted toward my limit. The problem is, if I wanted to place that same image in another journal or character sheet, I can't figure out how to do that internally and avoid re-uploading the image and adding more toward my limit. I can't find any commands or prompts to load an image from my uploaded images and if I drag and drop the same image into another journal or sheet, I get a duplicate in my library. So how can I utilize an image that I've already uploaded if I can't copy and paste it or link to it from my library? Or, if I can do this, how do I link to or copy and paste from my library?

You can drag an image from the Art Library sidebar to the character sheet, handouts, cards, etc. by dragging the image from the sidebar to the place where it says 'drop a file' - Gauss
I thought it was supposed to be that easy. Whenever I drag from the library to a character sheet that I'm editing, I continue to have the "no symbol" symbol over the image. When I release to drop it in, nothing happens.

Are you using the Art Library popup window or the sidebar? You need to use the sidebar because the popup window can only drop images onto the tabletop (a recent addition to the popup window). - Gauss
Thank you, I feel like an idiot but that was the problem...
