One of my players can see the entire map despite dynamic lighting, even when he has no tokens on said map, and when global illumination is off.

He's using Chrome. EDIT: The fog of war system seems to work.
Same glitch is happening for me. Sometimes it works except instead of the illuminated spot staying on my token, it travels with my screen

I just finished lighting a new map.  If I re-join as a player with my GM account, I get the dynamic lighting working fine.  If I join with my second account that I use for player testing, I can see the entire map, can move my token anywhere.  I have DL Enabled, Enforce LoS enabled, Only Update on Drop enabled, and Restrict Movement enabled. Global Illumination and Fog of War disabled.  I have hardware acceleration enabled on my browser (Chrome).
Player says hardware acceleration is enabled in Chrome and the problem persists.
Hi everyone, I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the site. Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!
Hi there, I'm the affected player. I've tried everything mentioned here. The issue still exists in firefox. Even with trying everything, dynamic lighting won't work. Fog of war at least seems to work, but I don't really know about that. I'm also having issues with in-game lag (I move a piece, it takes a minute to actually move) but that might just be from the size of the maps being used.
Jason , could please thoroughly work through Step 4 , making sure to supply a compete console log? Thanks!
I tried with Microsoft Edge and it worked perfectly.
I was having same problem as Jason in Chrome. This resolved issue for me. "Use Hardware acceleration when available" in Chrome's advanced settings has fixed the issue.
Thanks for sharing, Coyotemamba . Hopefully some more Chrome users experiencing issues with Dynamic Lighting will find that enabling hardware acceleration resolves their issues.
Looks like Jason mat have already tried it, but I figured it was worth sharing.
Edge apparently works for Jason.  Dunno why.
I'm glad that Edge is working for the time being. However, Edge is not a browser that is officially-supported by Roll20, and Edge users may encounter other issues. Unless Jason would be interested in continuing troubleshooting via Step 4 , would you like me to mark this issue as resolved?
