Free artwork for portraits?

Where is a good place to find character artwork, i.e. portraits and such for tokens. I'm trying to get into my first game and would like to be able to provide artwork (as it seems to often be required). I don't have any artistic ability so I'm at a loss as to common sources for this. Is it common or genrally acceptable to just find something via Google Image? I am able to modify stuff with GIMP and whatnot, just don't want to start if it's frowned upon to use generic stuff from Google.

Hi,  Andy B. In addition to premium content from the Roll20 Marketplace , the Art Library Search can provide Free Assets as well as From the Web images. Pro-level users have access to  Exclusive Token Sets . Check out Searching For Art Assets for more information.
Yeah, thanks. I get the default in-app search. I'm looking for external references though. The in-app "From the Web" search is relatively limited/broken, but I guess its no different than a Google search. I suppose I'm really asking if its generally acceptable to use random art from Google or if it is expected to create unique art for the characters.
You can use anything you like for personal use in your own games. If you were selling your content then that would be different. Google away!
Thanks for the response! That's what I was inclined to believe but just wanted to make sure there was no unwritten/understood etiquette for using Google art in private games.
