Dynamic Lighting/Line of Sight -- Lost Mine of Phandelver

Hi guys, I have the Lost Mine of Phandelver module and a Plus account. Still trying to figure out dynamic lighting (have read the page on it and watched some tutorials), but am having trouble in particular with the Cragmaw Hideout. Everything is set to default, as it came with the Module. In GM view, it looks like fog of war is turned on (but it's not). In area 8, there's a campfire (illuminating the room) on the Token layer. Dynamic Lighting and Enforce Line of Sight are enabled. However, if I insert a token on the dynamic lighting layer and hit CTRL+L, the entire map is black and I cannot see my token, or the room with the campfire (even if the token is in it); likewise, with CTRL+L, if the token emits lights, the entire map is still black. Same for player characters. Thanks in advance for any help. 
Make sure that the token you are selecting has the "Has sight" checkbox in the advanced tab checked.

Do you have the token setup to have  sight enabled ?
