New player..Have never played before. Looking to get into pathfinder or some other RPG. Dont know where to start:(

Hello. I am brand new to this whole thing but have been intrigued by tabletop RPG for many years. I have honestly know idea what I am doing and was never taught anything for tabletop RPing. I was hoping someone could teach me how to make character sheets, and show me the ropes on how to play. Getting a group of people together for a campaign would be a blast as well. will someone please help me. I do not know where to turn. Dustin.
Greetings, Dustin. What sort of games interest you? What sort of games are you not interested in? What is your time zone? What is your availability? I am sorry about the barrage of questions, but they will help us point you in the right direction. Good luck and good gaming.
Anything goes.. Fantasy or cyberpunk are ones I am most interested in. I am in the Eastern time zone. Available anytime, just got laid off :(. After I get a job again I am always free in the evenings. Just want to get my feet wet, so as it stands I am interested in all

Inspired by D&D, I created my very own epic custom RPG experience. For several months now I have been refining the game and creating smooth combat/transitions...a long with learning my way around roll20. This is the third opening for players to test out my game. I am EXTREMELY excited to get a third test group in here and see the progression of the game and characters! Please, if you are interested, leave a post on the application page (link below) and you will most likely be added. I have created a new set of rules and game play, so all experience levels are welcome. This is an entirely new experience so if you want to try something shiny, fresh, and epic stop sitting there and come on in! Try your luck in the Goblin Wastes! This game is a mix between a Role Play Game and a Board Game. Role Playing is extremely important when interacting with other players and citizens of the Wastes. Board Game mechanics come into play for combat and world movement. There is a lot of combat and action, so expect it coming in. If you are an interested player, please pick TWO classes and races from below and list them in a post with 1. being your preferred and 2. being your second choice pick. Be sure to also list what sex you want your characters to be. You can find the application page to see our next game day and also post your picks at: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/66611/the-goblin-wastes Warrior (Orc, Human, Elf, Dwarf) - Tank, Medium Damage Berserker (Orc, Dwarf) - High Damage, Low Defense Paladin (Human, Dwarf) - Tank, Support, Low Healing, Medium Damage Druid (Elf) - Shape Shifting, Multi Roll Rogue (Human, Elf) - Stealth, Crowd Control, High Damage, High Mobility Shaman (Orc, Dwarf) - Support, Medium Healing, Low Damage Cleric (Human, Elf, Pixie) - High Healing, Low Damage Earth Mage (Spriggan) - High Damage, Crowd Control Ice Mage (Dwarf) - Tank, Crowd Control, Low Damage Fire Mage (Human, Elf) - High Damage, High Mobility Chaos Mage (Human, Elf) - High Damage, Multi-Target, Aggressive - After being cast out of the magic academy due to an unhealthy lust for power, this mage loses all control of their energy and fires raw blasts of overwhelming mana at their foes. This wild mage never learned the discipline of control, instead, they let the mana take control.
Hey Dustin! I'm not currently GMing any games, nor am I a player in any. I've been looking for a game that fits my schedule, and if you'd like, I can let you know if I find one. I'm always happy to take new players under my wing.

Hello, Dustin! Not to get too excited among all of the other replies, but can I interest you in some urban dark-fantasy? Maybe not cyberpunks and netrunning, but Vampires and Werewolves hiding among vast conspiracies amid the throngs of humanity? https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/66801/inherit-t... Newbies are awesome, and I play a more rules-light approach with a pretty intuitive system that makes things easy to just jump into and play. But, even if my thing isn't your cup of tea, just browse around and find something that grabs your attention. Table-top games are 90% showing up. So long as the people are friendly and you're excited to play, everything will fall into place, and Roll20 is a great place to start looking! Good luck out there, and have fun!
I have a decently rule-light system i am recruiting for. Planing on playing a solid 4-6hrs ish between 1-12pm MST every week/every other week (atm, thinknig Thurdays). It is a very simplified system, but has room for lots of strange or goofy things. If curiose, send a PM.
