my view of the game screen has somehow turned into a small sliver at the top. I have had this happen before & fixed it but I forgot what I had to do so somebody jog my memory
Well one certain way to fix it is to close all tabs, remove cookies and history until before it happened and restart. Never happened to me but you probably changed a option in your browser and its saved now for that website. Try CTRL and then mouse wheel. This changes the zoom on a website but I highly doubt this is the problem for your case.
More often than not this is caused by a search bar extension added to your browser or the browser zoom has been increased and is affecting the layout of the screen
