Campaign Discussions Notifications

I would love a feature, whether optional per campaign or automatic, that when a Campaign Discussion post is either started or replied to it sends an email notification to all the players and DM in the campaign. I have tried to get my players to use the discussion post to talk, but they don't check it because they forget about it unless I send them a text message letting them know it is there.

This sort of already exists, you just can't change the setting specifically for certain campaigns or forums. In your account, choose the "Immediately for every notification" under the "I want to receive emails for site notifications:" option. This will notify you via email (if your email is valid and checked regularly) as well as on the website of every new topic in any campaign you are in - this also includes replies and stuff on the public forums, of course. That being said, checking a forum every day really shouldn't be such a 'horrible burden or something for your players, in my opinion...
I second Mav5ric, a notification option would be really nice. My players are forgetful as well and they wouldn't check on the website. We play once a fortnight so without notifications they would never go check the campaign page. It is the difference between using the forums and not using them at all, in my opinion. Thanks for the suggestion Mouse, it could probably do in the absence of a specific option. But having the public forums in the mix could render it less than handy...
