Damage to one token occurs simultaneously to other similar tokens

Hello Fine People, I'm play testing my first game as GM for 5th ed. D&D. I created some NPC sailors to populate a longship combat. When I apply damage score to the HP field above the token's image (I forget what the name is in the tutorial--in simple terms its the red circle over the character's icon), some, but not all of the other sailor NPCs take the same damage. I deleted two, and recreated them to see if it was due to copying the first sailor after it was finished, and that resulted in both taking simultaneous damage. Note: the right click, copy and paste was not used in this case. I pulled a token from the original set our of the Art Library each time, and linked both to the same character. Is there a max number of linking to one character in the journal in the sidebar that the system will allow? I am currently running Windows 7, my browser is Chrome 55.0.2883.87, Screen Res is 1366x768, Browser Size is 1366x658 this is before this is the damage applied to the specific token this is the result, where multiple like tokens receive the damage. I'm certain this is a product of user error. After searching a few pages in the technical issues forum, I didn't see a similar posting. Tim (edited in: and clearly I was sloppy with my screenshots)

I'm betting you haven't read through the wiki page on Linking Tokens to Journals and set up your NPCs as MOOK like you should. I always set up my 13th Age NPCs like this and the tokens do not affect each other or the Journals. https://wiki.roll20.net/Linking_Tokens_to_Journals

Andrew R. You would be correct. I did the tutorial and then charged in, missing this wiki after the situation started to sour. Thank you kindly for the help. That solved it. Peace.
