Has anyone created an RPG for the Mass Effect Universe?

Has anyone? i think it would be really cool to play as one of the alien races of the mass effect universe with the different special abilities.

It's been mentioned a couple of times. I think some people were considering trying to use Savage Worlds to run it.
Here's a link to a forum post on the Story-games forum where a user discusses adapting Stars Without Number for a Mass Effect game. Googling "Stars Without Number Mass Effect" will turn up other conversion notes too. Stars Without Number is an OSR mash-up of B/X era Dungeons and Dragons and Classic Traveller. Well worth checking out and the base rules are free.

The following page has what I think is the latest version of the D6 ME game that's been around for years. It also has links to other ME PnP projects. http://masseffectd6.blogspot.com/2013/05/mass-effect-d6-tabletop-rpg-209-again.html
Well, not sure how good the above is, but GURPS would work pretty well for Mass Effect.
GURPS?
A neat little roleplaying system that is designed around the idea that it should be customizeable. In theory you can run ANY sort of world in it. I highly recommend that you give it a peek :) (some people love it, like me, others hate it, so you really have to just throw a gander yourself)
The GURPS suggestions took actually longer than what I expected :D

GURPS, FATE and Savage Worlds are designed to socket into random genres and worlds, so it really comes down to whether the mechanics of one particular game system gels with you and your players best.
I've been toying with doing something for this myself and actually using the system the video game uses (the numbers are all there). Obviously, another system would be quicker but I just like authenticity.
because Mass Effect is kind of in an of itself an RPG it has stats so its on the lines of an RPG shooter. but i think it would need some minor tweaking for table top especially when rulling in different races with different classes.
Love this idea, though.
GMSoftin said: Mass Effect was Bioware's answer to the Star Wars license fee. The similarities are striking. If I were going to run an ME game I'd use Saga. So then what is SWTOR? Not to go off topic.
There are some Mass Effect hacks for Apocalypse World. It's a "story-gamey" kind of game though, nothing very crunchy though! I feel like it could go well with Mass Effect if what you liked in the games was all the interactions with your companions, and with the NPCs.
