Hello every one I am a long time DM i have been DMing and playing for 9 years now i have had a lot of fun creating worlds, stories, npcs, bad guys and letting my players have fun in the little worlds i create for them. The fact is i commit myself to to running a campaign to its fullest all i am asking for is a modest fee for my time and effort and hard work. I am 27 years old and started playing at 18 i have recorded over 4000 hours here on roll20 mostly playing and DMing online. I am a down to earth kind of guy that enjoys having fun and can generally get along with just about anyone. My Style of Dming mostly focuses on Role playing and combat i enjoy immersing my players into my world making sure that each player has a purpose and place within it blending in backstories and goals so that every player will leave satisfied with how there characters journey ends. Combat i keep at a fair but challenging environment meaning if enemies have any sort of intelligence or leader they will prioritize certain targets and prepare themselves accordingly with traps and ambushes if they are aware of the party and i follow a let the dice lie where they lay mentality so yes i have had players die or nearly die on occasions but players agree that is only cause the dice didn't go in there favor or because the enemy was better prepared. I am not a perfect DM i still have things to learn and ways to grow so i am always listening to my players and will do my best to work with them in order to produce a game they will enjoy. This is just a few guide lines that i hope that my players will follow while playing with me 1. PARTICIPATION : This is probably the biggest ruling i have i expect my players to show up on time each week for the game i have had to many times where players will leave or quit the game with out bringing up any reason as to why. If you can not play any more that is fine all i ask is for you to at least let me know the reason. Also if you are unable to make the time on a certain day due to work or life reasons please just let me know ahead of time that you wont be able to make it so i can adjust the game accordingly for the others. 2. RELAX: I'm a very laid back,
humorous guy. While I take gaming seriously (and both expect and hope
players to as well) please don't treat the game as some competition.
We're all here to socialize and live out an amazing adventure. Your
characters may die. NPCs may not cooperate. Treasure may not be epic.
None of these are reasons to rage quit and ruin the enjoyment for
others. 3. BACKSTORY: As mentioned above, every character is
important. Every character should have a history, a present task, and a
future goal. I want you guys to make characters that feel like living breathing individuals they should have families, lives, hopes, dreams, things that you and i have and i am willing to help you craft and build on your characters backstory into something that you are happy with. 4. COMMUNICATION: always talk among your fellow players even when we are not playing devise strategy and plans, divide loot assign who gets what, plan out spells and generally just RP with each other if you wish. Do not feel like the only time you guys are able to talk to each other is only when its game time. If there are any issues or concerns just bring them up to me in a PM and I will work with you on a way to fix it. We will use skype or discord to keep in touch with each other and i will be more then happy to talk to you guys when i am free. 5. GAME TIME: I enjoy playing just like everybody else so i wont be available all the time but my schedule is pretty open so most days and times i am free if you wish to set up a date and time just discuss it with me during the times i am free i am more then happy to go over any sort of questions or concerns you may have and will take as much time out of my day that you need to help you in anyway that i can. Pathfinder is what i usually run and have the most experience with but i also have experience with other systems and are willing to run them as well 1.
