Hey all, Some experience with D&D and other RPGs over the years, but consider myself a newbie for all intents and purposes. I'm sure it's a familiar story that I fell in love with the art and general lore as a kid, I was just never able to find or piece together a group myself all these years. I do have a few "real life" friends I'd like to DM for one day, however, I'm looking for some experience playing with the game mechanics before tackling that intimidating role. Weekdays after 7 pm and Sundays works best for me. I can also do the occasional Saturday, though I can't commit to that regularly and best reserved for a one shot type game. Looking for a fun group open to new players. I'm cool with light character roleplay and following the rules, but would love to be able to laugh around the table and enjoy the company along with the story (think Critical Role).
