First time with API and Character Sheets

I am new to the API scripts. I want to be able to take information off of a pdf character sheet and put it into a Roll20 Pathfinder sheet. Is that even possible to do like creature gen? Or do I have to go through and put in each piece of info line by line?
I am sorry to say Roll20 does not have a way to import characters from any formate from outside roll20.

There are API scripts( Pathfinder Statblock Import to Character Sheet Script ) that allow you to parse text (usually from a token's GM notes).  James has  PF Character Sheet - Hero Lab character importer .  I'm know there are other importers made for other systems as well.  But as Michael said, there isn't anything built-in from roll20 that allows you to import as you would like.  I believe you can import pdf's to handouts, but you are limited to one page at time.  ;-(

As Vince says, you can turn a single page from a PDF into a handout, but the API has no interface for analyzing a PDF file or image (which I believe a pdf-handout is turned into) in order to extract that data into a character sheet.
Thanks all for the replies. I see that my original idea is not possible. That means I may have to explore the HeroLab connection however much I do not want to.
