Is there way to put something on the token layer and not have come with all the radial information, so it can just be "a chair, a table or something Players can move"?
Make a drawing a characters default token, when you drag-n-drop the character onto the table top, the "token" will come on as a drawing and will have any control properties that you set before setting it as the character's default.
And to be clear, you can right click any token and select "is drawing" on the context menu to make it a simple drawing object they can manipulate.
