D&D Compendium Finess weapons tied to STR

I'm seeing a problem when I drag/drop weapons from the Compendium into my character sheets. My campaign is the Marketplace Mines of Phandelver kit. Situation: I added a Shortsword to the Equipment list on the OGL Sheet (with the D&D designs turned on). The properties display correctly in the inventory (e.g. it includes the Finesse and Light properties). However, once the item gets copied into the Attacks & Spellcasting area however, the weapon only uses the STR modifier. This example is happening with the Rapier also, but this is a Shortsword screenshot.:   Earlier, saw a problem where the weapons weren't being copied up into the Attacks & Spellcasting area at all. In that case, I duplicated the character sheet and the system began copying the equipment weapons into the area once again.
You will have the change the attribute manually, it's a drop down menu. Finesse doesn't mean they only use Dex, it means you can choose to use Dex or Str.
Thanks Ed. For some reason, I though the Finess defaulted to Dex instead of Str and it seemed weird to me.
Maybe it should, but that's not how it's set up in the compendium. Most people only use Dex but the rules do state that it can be Dex or Str. There is nothing stopping a big barbarian from picking up a rapier and ruining your day with it.
I think it must be a Character Sheet issue as the Shaped Sheet sets the value to Fine [short for Finess] and then uses the higher of Dex or Str.
