Are NPC blurbs helpful? (Also: what packs would you like to see?)

I've just released my first token pack --an exercise in cramming as much personality as I could into 64x64 sprites. While I was drawing it, only 5 of the sprites ever represented actual characters. The rest were blank slates, albeit really expressive blank slates. Then at the last moment I decided to flesh all of them out a little on their individual token pages. By "the last moment," I mean "over the course of a couple days." Is that actually useful? I can keep doing it if DMs use that sort of thing, but I know it's not exactly a stat block. Should I bother in future packs? (Any other feedback you have would also be appreciated, by the way! I plan to do more, but I haven't decided if I'll do monsters or more people next, and what kinds of people/monsters. I also take commissions.)
I like them, a very interesting style. It expresses the characters and their obvious traits quite well. If I ran a more light hearted game, I would consider this (I run Dark Heresy 40k so these would be inappropriate) but I would encourage you to keep at it, I would also be curious to see the monsters you would create in this style.
Indeed, these are very nice and very expressive. I like them. Alas I too run games on the darker side of the spectrum, so these would be inappropriate, but definitely keep at it, this is high quality stuff!
They're really cool! Remind me of Pokémon sprites. Love 'em.

Thank you! (And yeah--I first learned the style by emulating Pokemon, although the trainer sprites in the games are much more petite.) I'm currently trying to finish up a second pack, with 32 monsters and summons (plus celestial/fiendish versions where relevant) under CR 1. Right now I just have to dress a kobold, put hair and finishing touches onto an orc...and figure out if there's a better way to make things celestial than just bleaching them and maybe throwing on a halo if they still look gross. (Celestial dire rats? Celestial centipedes? Really? )
Make them shimmery/sparkly, maybe faint auras around them? Don't forget filigree wings made out of the goodness of people's hearts. Or alternatively you could make them wear fancy formal suits, sunglasses and bowler hats and be on a mission ... from God.

Well, my celestial centipede will have shimmery bits on its forehead. They're extra eyes, though. Like all centipedes, celestial centipedes are gross.

I love the style. Really fun.
They look really good! I especially love the fiendish dolphin, that looks hilariously awesome. If I were a GM I'd seriously consider using those!
