LFG to play DnD 5e with

Hey girls and guys! I am currently on the hunt for a group to play some DnD 5e with! I have played several pen&papers with a live group, but never played a 5e game before. I am quick to learn so I wont need long  to learn the mechanics. I live in the US, California (PST) and am available any time after 8:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I'm looking to join as a player because the last group I was part of had me dm most sessions. I'd like to take a break from that to enjoy a few games and gather my creative thoughts before running another game.

Three of my players went mia after my first session so I'm looking for more players to join, or for a group looking for a dm. I'm relatively new to being a dm, but I have the basics down.
