Hello there, We are a group of 3 players and a GM (me) looking for a replacement player for our Dark Heresy game. About the game We are all fairly new. Tone of the game so far (7 sessions in) is not uber-serious, but not lol-randumb either. I try to provide a decent split between combat and investigation. The party is currently leaning more towards the radical side, I'd say. (< That's a 40k thing) XP is just based on time played. No bonus XP or complicated breakdown, for now at least. Using mostly core rulebook and errata 3.0 with some rules borrowed from the later 40k RPGs (the rules for Auto/SemiAuto/SingleShot are from Only War, for example). Using Inquisitors handbook currently, the other supplement books might start to creep in later though. Requirements You must usually be free from about midday (GMT) Saturday for 4-5 hours, this is when we usually play. Will occasionally do a weeknight game if something comes up but that can't be a regular thing. You must be reliable, show up to games and give plenty of notice if you can't play. You should be considerate to your fellow players, this isn't a one man show. You must be reasonably active on the game's forum between sessions. Just checking your notifications every other day should suffice. You must speak english and be over 18. You must own a microphone and be willing to use it. Preferably be a pretty chilled out person, someone who doesn't argue about small details or get confrontational easily. Other Stuff New players perfectly welcome. We currently have a Tech Priest, a Psyker and an Adepta Sororitas, so it'd be great if you wanted to play a character that isn't one of those (and no Grey Knights, for obvious reasons). You'll be started off at 2100xp, to get you up to the same point as the current players. You'll also get enough starting gear to bring you up to par. If this sounds like something you are interested in, feel free to reply in thread or via PM. You'll need to post your Timezone, whether or not you have a Mic and maybe just a little bit about yourself (otherwise I'll assume you didn't read the thread).
I would like to join your group. I would like to play as a scum, guardsmen or cleric. It appears at first glance that your in need of some front line tankiness or felllowship based interaction and I feel these options would best fit with the group for investigation/combat needs. I am from GMT +6 which would but a mid day game at 5 - 6 AM for me which is normally when I start work during the week anyway, I am from Canada. I like to play characters which some sort of personality quirk to spice things up from an RP stand point. One of my current characters is a cleric which thinks he is God Emperors gift to music but constantly fails to entertain or seduce anyone with it. I have a mic and camera and generally play though skype or google hangout. I am a veteran of 2 inquisitions. I am not well seasoned but I ave a good understanding of the core game play systems.

I'm interested in joining your group. I have an integrated microphone, and I'm in EST{GMT-5}. I have been playing various pen and paper RPGs for about ten years now, both in-person and online. I also have about the same amount of experience in free-form text-based roleplay. I'm currently unemployed, though actively seeking a job, and I live in southern Ontario, Canada. As far as my gaming persona is concerned, I have a strong narrative focus with good attention to detail when it comes to story elements. Generally speaking, I look for games with an engaging story and some level of overarching plot, though I appreciate character-based sub-plots. I'm an adult and have adult sensibilities, so I don't mind and to some degree welcome mature themes in a game, provided they serve to either enhance the plot or create a proper setting, rather than bog down pacing or derail the story. Generally speaking I tend to play more leadership and 'planner' roles, and my characters are more serious than not. There have been and will continue to be exceptions to this, however, and I regularly try to break from this typecasting.
