So I had an idea for a DND game. Taking place in a custom setting (Gaia) in the Kingdom of Avaka (Through other locations will be visited) were players will roleplay as recently recruited members of the Order of Light, a secretive order of humble protectors sworn to defending Gaia. The Order of Light is new to Avaka, having only a small fortress in the northern Stonehill Mountains known as Wellpoint and about 125 members and is lead by Regent Akar Zaar, a High Elf who, nearing the end of his days, has recruited the players and made them his Squires (Think Padawans), who are the recruits of the Order. Coming from various backgrounds (The Order isn't picky with who it's recruits, as long as they are willing to fight for Justice and Gaia), the players are nearing the end of their training after two years. Ready to conduct their final trial, what will these eager new recruits find awaiting them in the strange world of Gaia, were angel's and gods openly interfere in mortal affairs? The campaign will be good and neutral aligned, no evil player characters are allowed. My hope is for the game to last a while, going through several arcs of roleplay. I am new to DND in terms of DMing, through I have DMed prior. Still, I am also looking for an experienced DM who is also good at making maps (Since I'm too much of a perfectionist for that, nothing would get done) to assist me. Any takers?
