We're starting to get some more players in so I'll expand a bit on how I'll probably be handling some of the settings and other vital info: For starters, I currently work night shifts so games that occur past 5 P.M. CST start at the rough equivalent of 4:00 AM for me while 8:00 AM CST is closer to 6:00 PM so I fear afternoon games are simply out of the question as I wouldn't be able to physically get up that " early " and then go to work ( I work 48 hour weeks with no set offday so I also can't schedule the game around my night off as it changes every week. ) Second, and this is probably a big deal for alot of people and it is something that is at least partially negotiable, I prefer to run very " fur heavy " games. What I mean by that is I usually modify the setting of whatever game we run such that Humans either never existed and it's an alternate universe populated by anthros, or there was some cataclysm or change in the distant past that caused all humans to become the anthros they are today. Or at the very least Anthros are far more common in universe than they would otherwise be to the point of being the majority ( An example of changing the setting in this was is in Shadowrun I usually say that the Goblinization that created elves and dwarves actually occurred universally on all humans and the results were identical to Class 3 SURGE which created Furries in the normal setting. ) In some games this isn't a big change such as Pathfinder where the setting was already very flexible in the first place. but in some games like Shadowrun or Eclipse Phase that can be a bit of a deal breaker as huge amount of the draw for the game can be the setting itself so when I say " rather than playing an all Surge game, or all exotic morph game, we're actually taking things like Orcs out and having metatype just be a way to further customize your character such as choosing Troll if you want to perhaps be either a Macro version of a smaller species or properly represent being an especially large species ( Rhino / elephant for example ) I realize that alot of people will look at that and say " Well why are we bothering playing X system if we're not going to change it that much? " and I fully understand that they feel like that. with that out of the way I'll make a current list of votes for the potential game and we can start seeing what we perhaps want to try to play. I'll keep this nice and updated as we get more potential players!
