I'm on a gming binge lately and I need to run SOMETHING or I will lose my mind. EDIT: Time Zone is CST, 8:00 AM, willing to start at 9:00 AM roughly 4 hour sessions. Weekly Voice or Text depending on player preference. Start day undecided. If there's any furries out there just post your interest and maybe I can run something for you. The systems I know are: Pathfinder ( looking to run a mystery/Investigation game with a slightest touch of horror ) Tenra Bansho Zero. ( a little obscure but insanely fun I'll gladly teach the system. ) Shadowrun 4e/5e Rogue Trader Adeptus Evangelion ( neon genesis evangelion RPG I'll also gladly teach this one. ) Goldensky Stories ( another obscure one that I'll happily teach ) Apocalypse World ( slightly toned down on the M18+ side of things. ) Eclipse Phase ( more investigation/horror ) Mass Effect D20 ( I'll gladly teach the system, some substantial modifications may be necessary to the universe but the actual system is still very fun and will make for a nice high powered Sci Fi game ) happy to hear from you guys, I've got a few years of dming experience and massively prefer very very RP heavy players and games.
I'd be very interested in a horror-ish mystery/investigations game~ What time zone are you?
Oh dear I forgot time zone! CST, sorry about that!
What day were you thinking of running your game on, and how often?
I presently have monday, teusday, Thursday, friday, and Sundays open ( though Sundays are a bit iffy right now. ) I plan for the game to be weekly, ty for questions they help round out the post!

Eclipse Phase would be my first choice, followed by Pathfinder. Monday or Thursday would be my preferred day. EDIT: Heck, with Eclipse Phase you could have use on a habitat where looking too human is siply gauche.
Admittedly, I'm kind of biased towards Pathfinder due to knowing it well, but could give learning something new a shot too. ^_^ 8am CST works out to be... roughly 6am my time(PST), which is a little early but still works for me. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays are my most open mornings, while evening works for the other days.
Just noticed the edit. 9am CST works perfect for me~ As for text versus voice, I tend to prefer text for rp. But either works for ooc.
I definitely prefer voice.
Heya! This looks interesting! My skype is ferelonshaderoot. Message me when you can! Im ah voice actor and love using it when making up characters so to be brutally honest I wanna do ah voice game.
While I'm interested, I unfortunately do not have mornings free. Any time after 5:00pm EST, though, works perfectly for me. I'm a veteran of PF but happy to run any system. I've recently discovered the Shadowrun games and become fascinated with the world, but I'm a complete noob with the tabletop system for it.
We're starting to get some more players in so I'll expand a bit on how I'll probably be handling some of the settings and other vital info: For starters, I currently work night shifts so games that occur past 5 P.M. CST start at the rough equivalent of 4:00 AM for me while 8:00 AM CST is closer to 6:00 PM so I fear afternoon games are simply out of the question as I wouldn't be able to physically get up that " early " and then go to work ( I work 48 hour weeks with no set offday so I also can't schedule the game around my night off as it changes every week. ) Second, and this is probably a big deal for alot of people and it is something that is at least partially negotiable, I prefer to run very " fur heavy " games. What I mean by that is I usually modify the setting of whatever game we run such that Humans either never existed and it's an alternate universe populated by anthros, or there was some cataclysm or change in the distant past that caused all humans to become the anthros they are today. Or at the very least Anthros are far more common in universe than they would otherwise be to the point of being the majority ( An example of changing the setting in this was is in Shadowrun I usually say that the Goblinization that created elves and dwarves actually occurred universally on all humans and the results were identical to Class 3 SURGE which created Furries in the normal setting. ) In some games this isn't a big change such as Pathfinder where the setting was already very flexible in the first place. but in some games like Shadowrun or Eclipse Phase that can be a bit of a deal breaker as huge amount of the draw for the game can be the setting itself so when I say " rather than playing an all Surge game, or all exotic morph game, we're actually taking things like Orcs out and having metatype just be a way to further customize your character such as choosing Troll if you want to perhaps be either a Macro version of a smaller species or properly represent being an especially large species ( Rhino / elephant for example ) I realize that alot of people will look at that and say " Well why are we bothering playing X system if we're not going to change it that much? " and I fully understand that they feel like that. with that out of the way I'll make a current list of votes for the potential game and we can start seeing what we perhaps want to try to play. I'll keep this nice and updated as we get more potential players! Kristi: Pathfinder / Other, Mystery/investigation+Horror Steely Phil: Eclipse Phase / Pathfinder, Mystery/Investigation+Horror William: Raze: Shadowrun
I am curious, if we play Eclipse Phase, would uplifts work any differently?
Fur heavy's just fine with me~
What days are you planning on playing? Also, would you allow third party materials like Psionics, Path of War, and Spheres of Power?
Wanted to ask that same question as Kaouse, and double check that availability is 8:00 am like in the morning. Because that would be perfect for me lol Other then that I'm a big fan of Pathfinder myself, but I'd be open to 5e since I've been wanting to play that. I'd be alright with trying other systems, but I have the most experience with pathfinder as well.
ah, if we go eclipse phase Uplifts are definitely a thing I'd be very open to discussion in regards to what the players want. Right off the top of my head I can think of a few possibilities, Uplifts could perhaps the the last remnants of humanities legacy, having long since moved past their original more animalistic forms they have adopted largely more humanoid morphs partly out of convenience and necessity. The old " feral " morphs are still in existence but they have largely gone out of style and are the toys of " Feral " enthusiasts. Morphs resembling humanity do exist, but are largely seen as being in extremely poor taste to wear out of respect for the departed ( The Fall from the normal Eclipse Phase setting completely wiping out humanity due to a targeted memetic virus. ) and of course Uplifts have expanded to include a staggering array of animal species ranging from insects to every form of mammal and reptile and avian. etc. etc. so players arent' limited to the 5 or so that exist in the typical setting.
As for day, That is definitely dependent on what the Players need, I haven't set one yet to keep recruitment as open as possible so whichever days work for you guys and that all line up I would be willing to explore! I can also confirm it's 8-9:00 AM CST in the morning, I work nights so Evening games would be very difficult for me so this is a more elegant solution for scheduling conflicts I usually have lol. As for 3rd Party, I am open to it though I only allow it on a case-by-case basis so anything someone wants to try I'd review individually. I am upfront willing to say I'm usually a bit iffy on Psionics though Path of War I'm generally very receptive towards. And of course only 3rd party content available on the SRD is allowed as otherwise of course I don't have the content to review.
Oh well excellent, then I'd love to be counted towards a Monday game at that time for a few hours, that'd be excellent for me. Like I said, Pathfinder or 5e is my general vote.
Any weekday morning aside from Tuesday and Thursday gets my vote.
https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/36553/the-world... This may also interest some of the Pathfinder guys here, it is Text Only and while it isn't technically a furry game it does have a good selection of custom races that mostly fill alot of familiar archetypes ( if you perhaps want something more specific I'm open to modifying a couple races to perhaps have subspecies that fit with something you may want. ) Most of the races also have wildly different regional variants so an Aerrow for example could resemble anything from a standard crow person up to a parrot or songbird. Also planning an Aquatic Race confined to " overland dive suits " So kinda like quarians from mass effect, but shark/fish people. So that covers a pretty good array of species as well. ( Finally it may also seem like I'm unresponsive at times though I want to assure everyone ahead of time I'm just waiting a week to get in as large a potential player pool as I can before I really dive into selecting players / days / systems. I am also very much in the mood for some science fiction so I am leaning towards either a Patfinder game that uses the Technology guide full force or possibly a lite eclipse phase if we get any more interest for that. )
A technology heavy PF thing could be cool~ Thinking technological ruins and artifacts, or full "society activly producing the stuff in large amounts"?
The world of charter game is very much of the " ancient ruins of technology that are so old that those who built them dont remember their purpose or the war they fought in " while the possible eclipse phase game would have lite elements of ancient t technology but would also be very much traditional science fiction where space is being explored and everyone has a laser shotgun in the backseat of their hover truck.
Excellent~ I enjoy both sorts ^-^
Im up for a tuesday, thursday, or friday game of pathfinder. And the vast majority of races actual LOOKS matter little in Pathfinder, so im not terribly concerned with fur heavy. Im just not into the very.. GRAPHIC detail that some wish to indulge in. So id love to join you all, and hope to hear from you. PM me with any questions or issues.
Greetings, any word on this?
Update: PMs and invites will be heading out tommorow and day after, keep posting interest! I'm planning on running a Pathfinder game and an Eclipse Phase game, after testing out some voice programs I've found that doing voice on my Internet connection just isn't reliable enough ( 15 minutes blackouts are very frequent ) so well be doing pure Text for both using either Skype or Discord depending on player preference for OOC chatter and discussion.
Pathfinder PMs sent and accepted, group presently full, Sending out Eclipse Phase PMs shortly! As of now Consider the Pathfinder half of this thread Closed ( Though I'll gladly accept more posters as there are always going to be people dropping out. ) while the Eclipse Phase half is still in full swing!
