With the turn of the 21st century, L.A. has seen a bloody but
efficient takeover by the Camarilla from the Sabbat presence. Many
attribute this success to the devious Iron
Queen herself, Annika, who has claimed the title of Prince through much
bloodshed.
Unfortunately, Annika's grasp on her throne begins to wane as
recent nights have seen unusual rife within the Kindred court due to
vampire disappearances occurring all across LA. Some say that these are
the works of the recently ousted Sabbat trying to gain a foothold back
into their original domain. Other rumors describe vicious Hunters who
have begun a holy purge of all Kindred within the city. More troubling
are the hushed whispers of Elders who are convinced that these
disappearances are linked to something far worst. The Prince herself
denies all of these allegations, but many have noted her frequent
absences in Elysium whilst her Brujah consort, Anso, handles Kindred
affairs in her stead
