Men are not banned from this group, just carefully chosen. It is no more or less specific than a group looking only for Australian gamers, only for White Wolf fans or only 18+. I fail to see any reasonable reason for your outrage. There was more than enough discussion about this one already.

Even if it was just for women... so what? It's not against the law to choose the people with whom you wish to associate. Don't worry so much about what other people are doing, just find a group of players that fit the type of play you're looking for.

Can you explain how this supposed discrimination has hurt your ability to find a game? Can you explain how the lack of being able to game with a group of woman has had a negative impact on your social aspect of your gaming? Can you explain the difference between her specific requesting for people of her gender that she feels comfortable gaming with is any different than someone specifically requesting only people that are experienced in a specific game system or experienced with a certain aspect of a system (gesulting for instance)? How is her requesting this specific group of people any different than what other people have posted or have you gotten offended by their posts asking for specific people also?

It is not a violation of the law. You might be thinking of employment discrimination laws (where, by the way, choosing to hire only men or only women for a particular job is legal), or housing discrimination laws? A game master on the internet is not your landlord, Rob. You don't have a case.

I say.... Let the girls play!! I do appreciate the original post, and I encourage others of like mind set to make similar posts. It makes it very easy to know who not to game with.

Rob. People are free to choose who they do and don't want to play with. Get over it.

Well said, Nestor. :) Good community we have here. I am pleased to see not a single post supporting Rob's ridiculous claim. That wouldn't be the case in a bunch of other forums!
