New to DM'ing and would like to get some players to experiment on (as soon as tonight)

Hey guys, I've only DM'd a handful of times but I really enjoy it and want to sharpen my skills. I host a very regular weekly game at my house and I take over DM'ing every now and then but we have a very regular DM who is just awesome so I usually just let him take the lead. My goal here is to find 3-4 fun (and understanding) players who will let a new DM guide them thru campaigns of his own design. Writing campaigns is so much fun to me and I know after I really get the hang of DM'ing more I'll really have an advantage over most DM's in terms of creativity. As far as time goes if enough people are interested I can run as early as 10pm EST tonight but we can work with everyone's schedules to acomadate whenever, I have a super flexible schedule. So with that being said if you want to take a shot and you can bare with me thru a few slow moments and even offer up advice as we go I'd love to have you on board. Any experience is ok but please list yours out as well as just what type of campaigns, role play, combat and action you like most. The biggest shortage on this site (and even within DnD itself) is the lack of DM's, help me out to add at least one more to the pool :D

Hello,  My two friends and I have been looking to get into a game while our current dm works on the next chapter of our main campaign. None of us are super experienced, but we know enough to not be a huge hassle. We're incredibly laid back, and would be thrilled to help a new dm, as I feel it can lead to some awesome situations. The only caveat I can see is that we'd only be able to stay as soon as Tuesday night, cause you know work and stuff.  Here's hoping we can set something up.

As someone who jumped into the game as a DM and not a player I would love to play in your game. As far as experience goes, I've never played as a PC, but I am currently in the middle of DMing my second full campaign for my friends. So I have a basic grasp on the rules, but it would be nice to play a character.

Hey guys, sorry for the hold up getting more details together but let me throw some updates out now. The bad: I'm gonna need to push it back probably two days at least. The good: The reason is I've really dove into writing an epic and detailed back story to this campaign. I'm really having a lot of fun writing all of this and I think it's going to turn into some great role playing! I probably should be starting off using more prebuilt campaigns but I think the emotional attachment to a story I've wrote myself will really bring out the DM in me. Right now I've finished most of the back story that will be told as the players go along so I'm just finishing up the kingdoms and the personalities of the people you could run into as well as some final encounters. I'm not going to go over board because I know we will only get so far in this first one but I want to make sure there is just an abundance of story to play thru. Thanks for hanging in there with me I'll keep everyone posted :)
