Use the dynamic lighting/fog of war for in-real-life games?

I have a group that I play with in-person. However, drawing the maps as we go or printing them out ahead of time and trying to fit them on the table and only uncover the relevant portions is a drag...  Has anyone used the dynamic lighting or fog of war features on roll20 to display the map? Many modules have online maps that you can download. I envision downloading the maps, drawing in the walls, and then using roll20 to display them on one screen for all the players to look at. If needed for a battle, then one of the players could sketch what they see on the screen on a physical battlemat for battles. Has anyone tried this? How did it go? Or is there better software to do this?

Roll20 can work quite well for this. Here is a page in the Roll20 wiki docs, <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Using_Roll20_while_Playing" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Using_Roll20_while_Playing</a>...
Here's a video of my script in action if you want to limit each player to only the view of the character they control: <a href="https://plus.google.com/photos/photo/1096595914531" rel="nofollow">https://plus.google.com/photos/photo/1096595914531</a>... Would require a pro subscription however.
That looks great. I created another account to use as a "dummy account" for the players. However, I can't figure out how to get the two accounts "linked".&nbsp; For example, I create a game in the primary account. I go to the dummy account, but now I can't figure out how to find the game I created...&nbsp; Do I actually have to advertise that I have a game and am looking for players? (I didn't want to do that because I'm not actually looking for strangers to join this game.) I can't figure out how to private message from one account to the other.&nbsp; How do I do this?

Mouse over teh grey box in chat when you first log in to a campaign and you can get your second account into the campaign that way, using the join link.
Wow, thanks! I never would have figured that one out. It looks like the dummy account also has to be opened in a different web browser to be signed in to 2 accounts e.g. logged in on firefox running the game and logged in on chrome to display the dummy account. The hide the UI script is nice. If you use F11 in Chrome, then you can switch back and forth between full screen mode and see just the map and the scroll bars.

You can use the same browser, but if you refresh one window, it will load as the most-recently-logged-in user. You could also use Ingonito mode for one of the user accounts.
