I am creating a skill value in AD&D that possibly goes over 20. How can I cap the value at say 19? Is it max(some calculation | 19)?

Where are you trying to do this?  In a dice expression, it would be something akin to: /r 1d20+{19,@{selected|stat}}kl1

My string is below &{template:default} {{A roll of WIS}+@{BARKA|Horse Specialization Riding}} or less is successful}}KL1]] /roll 1d20<WIS}+@{BARKA|Horse Specialization Riding} It works! Thanks!

Wow, I'm actually a bit surprised that works...
SORRY MISCOPIED. Just checked that this works &{template:default} {{A roll of [[19,{@{BARKA|WIS}+@{BARKA|Horse Specialization Riding}}]KL1]] or less is successful}} /roll 1d20<WIS}+@{BARKA|Horse Specialization Riding}
I recommend adding the {}kl1 function to your /roll: &{template:default} {{A roll of WIS} + @{BARKA|Horse Specialization Riding}}kl1 or less is successful }} /roll 1d20<WIS} + @{BARKA|Horse Specialization Riding}}kl1
Thank you! I missed that! With < the value on the second line would be 20, not 19.  Again thanks

Andy K. said: With < the value on the second line would be 20, not 19. Actually, Roll20 uses inequality operators inclusively, e.g. < functions as ≤ For more information, check out: Target Number (Successes)
