Doors and dynamic lighting, how to make it work ?

hi, sorry if this has been posted elsewhere before, when creating the maps, which mostly is created via DPS imported and things like doors i obtain from roll 20. i'll try and describe what i mean.... i want to create a small room with a closed door. obviously if PC is standing outside of this room they cannot see into it, PC then opens the door and lighting goes into room per PC's vision. is there a simple button or quick way of toggling doors that work with lighting ? hopefully that makes sense..... i have been using lighting and know how to draw the lines on, only way i can think of doing this so far is drawing the lines on either side of the door then create a separate smaller line and delete it when they open the door, and redraw it on if they close it again... seems long thanks in advance
Make a separate piece for the door, it needs to be a different color, I also make it thicker and leave a little tail on it so you can easily grab it. check out this tutorial. https://youtu.be/GQfLVd66fFs?t=5m20s
thanks for the tip, and the guide share :)

What I do is use the text tool to mark where doors are on the map since it's not obvious when using dynamic lighting. On my dynamic lighting layer I'll outline things with the line tool, usually just above thin, in green. For doors I'll use the thickest line width and use red. Makes it easier to move the door out of the way when a player enters the room.
