New to Roll20 - How does the rolling engine determine #Successes? I am trying to setup 2nd AD&D skills and the idea here is to roll LOW rather than high

How does the rolling engine determine #Successes? I am trying to setup 2nd AD&D skills and the idea here is to roll LOW rather than high I looked on wiki and at some youtube but thought I would save some time by asking gathering than keep hunting in vain

Here's the section you want: https://wiki.roll20.net/Dice_Reference#Target_Numb... So assuming you wanted something like 1d20-3 and wanted to know if it was less 8 or less: /roll {1d20-3}<8 or as an inline roll: [[{1d20-3}<8]]
You might also be interested in the cs and cf syntax, which allows you to specify what the dice engine considers a critical success/failure. The syntax can be found at the same link Aaron posted. I use this in my homebrew to make low rolls crits and high rolls fumbles, somewhat like the following: [[3d12cs<1cf>12]]
