Fantasy one-shot game - Saturday Nov 23

I'm checking for interest in a one-shot roleplaying scenario in a low-fantasy world. To Kill a Monster The road they were told to take had fallen into disuse. Luckily that travelling merchant knew a better route for them to take. But what are those sounds coming from the forest? And what is really going on in that small village deep in the woods? A group of young men and women have left their home for the first time, travelling to the distant city to seek apprenticeship. On the way they might learn a thing or two about themselves and about what monsters really are. This is a one-shot role playing scenario for five pre-made characters. It can be finished in an evening, but could be extended to two if necessary. Play focuses on investigation and roleplaying in a low-fantasy medieval world where fear of the supernatural is everywhere and getting hit by a sword will usually either kill you now or later by a nasty infection. Characters collaborate but may also have secrets and hidden goals to strive for during play. To kill a monster is played with a simple homebrew die-based rule system and favours character, drama and story over rules lawyering. Use of a microphone, via google hangout or skype is a requirement. We can use webcams too if everyone agrees. This is due for Saturday Nov 23 and I hope to get a full team of five players together. I put up a more formal page using the LFG system here (more info about applying is there too). . Griatch
