Player looking for long term RP group

i've posted before with some decent luck, but unfortunately the groups i found are having a hard time meeting up regularly.  And while i enjoy Rping with them, i really do want to make it a regular weekly, or multiple times per week, event in my schedule.  I am mostly looking for a group, or groups, that are planing to start a long term campaign, be it homebrew or module, in one of the following systems.  D&D 5e: (20 years experience, most familiar with the systems, have several characters already rolled up between lvl 1 and lvl 9) Shadowrun (no experience at all, not familiar with the system, but have been wanting to get into it for a very long time, just never had the opportunity) Pathfinder (Familiar with the systems, never actually played it, but have created a few characters on the off chance.  Most interested in playing a Summoner or Swashbuckler character.) As a player i really do enjoy combat, but want that combat to support an ongoing story/quest and am mostly interested in the character building, bonding and story telling aspects of the P&P genre.  I do voices, or at least try (i'll admit i'm not very good at it, but i try) and greatly enjoy the RP aspect over anything else, and always try to make character building decisions based on what my character would want/need rather than me trying to powergame. My scheduling is pretty open, I am located in the PST (GMT -8) timezone, and the only limitation is that i am unable to play Tuesday and possibly Wednesday and the games would have to be in the afternoon/evening. I am open to other systems as well, but those 3 above are the 3 i've been most wanting to get into.
Hey! Do you have any interest in episodic campaigns?  My LFG post is going up later tonight but I am setting up a Guild (aka player group) with a Ratfolk as the founder and host along with his small clan. He funds adventurers on there quests in exchange for a lions share of the treasure. By no means are they skimped though, a place to stay, a unique community, all basic equipment is provided, transportation, and useful items for the task at hand. Leaving can be a sharp topic though.  IRL I'm hoping to host a group of players who will play together, talk about their games, and DM for each other every now and then. The actual games will be self contained with persistent consequences. With more players the need to have the same people every week will be less of an issue.  In practice it may not be as smooth as I hope but did I catch your interest? I do plan on having a 1$ pay wall, just to filter those who are really interested but nothing beyond that will be required. I'll be back if you have any questions. :)
i'm sorry, but i don't have the money to spend on a pay to play game unfortunately.  And while i don't mind episodic campaigns, i really am looking for a steady group of people who can play together and form bonds, and what you're describing kinda feels like setting up for something that has a little bit more of a fluid player group.  (which is good, but really not what i'm looking for at the moment.)
Yeah, I'm looking for things more on the fluid side as I like to switch up my players for variety. The dollar is just a "I plan to be here longer than a week" type of thing, nothing more. I wish you luck though! my LFG post and listing are now active, so stop by if you change your mind. :)
Come check out the post I just made. I'm looking for players. Lots of playtest material, as I am a designer (which means periodically starting new games with new characters). Meetings will be every other week on Saturday evenings. Let me know if that appeals to you.
While i appreciate the offer, that's almost exactly the opposite of what i'm looking for.  I am looking for a dedicated game/system, that the group continues with till the natural conclusion of the story, be that after a few months, or a few years.  I'm not looking for something that will be resetting, or game switching, very often.    I would like to find something where relationships, friendships, enemies, and bonds can naturally form within a group of characters, and i find that's very difficult to do when the group is constantly re-rolling, or switching systems.
