I have been playing D&D since the 80s but have not tried my hand @ DMing Roll20 at all. I would like to take on the role of Co DM for and upcoming or existing campaign to get my feet wet and get a handle of the Roll20 GM screens and what all that entails.

The new-ish Roll20 tutorial is a very good place to start. Co-DMing is difficult since you have to basically give a stranger the keys to your kingdom. As Always DM suggests, if you included more info that would be helpful. Maybe someone would let you lurk for a bit and then promote you to co-dm.
