Hello! I'm looking for a long term, consistent 5e game that meets weekly (or more). I have attempted to join several games on roll20, but all of them seem to play very inconsistently and it's getting very frustrating! I'm usually available from 8pm central time until about 1am, maybe 2am at the latest, Monday-Thursday. I can be on skype, discord, vent, etc. I have a working mic. I do have a work laptop with a web cam if that is a requirement. As far as D&D background? I've watched Youtube/Twitch channels like ItMeJP, MissClicks, Adam Koebel, and Critical Role for several years now! I have a decent understanding of the basics, but will occasionally need brief rules clarifications. I've only played 5E. My play style? I'm in sales for a living, so I'm very good on my feet, making things up on the fly, and dealing with the unexpected! I do tend to throw in a lot of shenanigans, meme stuff, and song, movie or cultureal references for laughs. I like a good mix of both RP and combat. I'm open to a fairly rules strict game, a total BS homebrew game, or anything in between. Characters that I would prefer to play? I generally like to play tanky/smashy smashy melee characters. I started playing D&D with a Barbarian for that reason. And it seemed like a new player friendly class since it doesn't have spells to pick from and prepare. Or I like ranged physical damage dealers. With Unearthed Arcana, I've really come to like the Artificer's gunsmith variant! I've also been wanting to check out Monk. Me personally? I love 3 things in life: Excessively expensive craft beer, guns, and cars (3 things you shouldn't really ever combine together). Oh, and swearing, I fuck swear a lot! Not easily offended, so pretty much anything goes.
