Brace Yourselves, The Final Assault is coming. The Banners have been gathered. The Heroes have been called. The Final Fight to retake the city and Defeat Prince Aegnor! (I will post what information and such you have access to here, to prep yourselves and start thinking on your war plans for the Fight to come) Feel free to discuss, take a look, add some thoughts of your own, and ideas. Remember there may be more allies or options available that Carth and the others have not thought of to assist them in the Battle. If you can come up with an Ally or way to get extra Battalions, just add a little story involving your small group that did the Mark Quest with you as you journey to recruit the Allies before the big meet up in Corvolas. If I think it was a success, the Ally will be added to the List like Veric did with Orrick.

As Veric and Fennick made their way back to his ship, Veric had an idea that had never occurred to him before. He had made many friends on his journey with Zeekten, Garbodor and Fennick. He remembered how he came to meet his friends. After a horrible ambush set by Orrick and his men. Veric lost his crew, his shp, his pride and nearly his life. From then on he traveled with this rag tag group of people. He saw much death. He experienced more sadness than ever before. He traveled with them in hopes to right his previous wrongs as a pirate on the open seas by avenging his crew and Killing Orrick with this new company. Things took a large turn for the worst and realized even his enemies may be an essential ally in the upcoming battle for the realm. He knew he must seek out Orrick for help. It did not take much to find Orrick. He can always be found on the open seas near Corvolas. Especially now more than ever. With the help of Fennick he was able to set up the same ambush Orrick had when they first met. He and Fennick hid in some smuggling holes he had installed himself to hide them and set his ship as bait. Sure enough seeing a ship sitting on the water is easy pickings for a pirate like Orrick. Once the two heard boots and footsteps with a bit of confused chatter above them Veric gave Fennick the signal. Fennick whispered a few words in a Magical cant of Illusion and locked Orrick and his crew in a trance allowing Fennick to manipulate the world for their eyes. Fennick created a crew of 200 men that seemed to spout from every crevice of the ship surrounding those that had boarded Veric being among them. Orrick instantly recognized the tactic of Ambush as his own that he had used to raid Veric long ago. “Welcome aboard my ship old friend” Veric called in a sarcastic tone. “I’m not as bloodthirsty as you are, so instead let us share a bottle of rum? Maybe talk about your surrender and give your service to me?” “Service you? My you make a man laugh.” Orrick retaliated. “I’m here to do no such thing.” Just as the words finished leaving Orrick’s mouth the Illusion crew advanced upon him and his crew. Veric drew his Pistol took aim at Orrick and quickly fired his blast, barely missing Orrick leaving his ears ringing to the sound, and killed 4 of his boarded crew leaving a horrified expression on Orrick’s face. “Seems to me your actions say otherwise. Sail to Corvolas and speak to Benny. Im sure you know him. little guy, big mouth. Meet me there in a day or two and you will have your instructions then.” Veric said to the belittled captain. “Yes sir.” Orrick said trying to leave. “But first Orrick, your left hand please.” Orrick stuck his left hand toward Veric. He quickly drew his sword and cut off his ring finger. “Just a reminder of who you screwed too many times to run now.”

**** I've noticed I left some information out and didn't encorporate Regor already being involved in the siege, so I will update accordingly and make this more clear. Sorry about that, did it in about 15 minutes in between classes. :) *** Garbador wakes up in the middle of the night while everyone is sleeping and begins to pack his things. The Siege of Eras is coming and he has a plan that’ll help bring victory to his friends and clear Zeekten’s name. As Garbador packs his things, his brother Groghar stirs awake and confronts him, “What is this brother? Packing before the battle?” – Groghar “My journey is finished Groghar, it’s time I come home and gather our people.” – Garb “I’m coming with Garbador, it’s still my mission to bring you home” – Groghar “Very well, but be quiet… Don’t wake the others.” – Garb They both begin to pack and head off towards the great clans near Landorus. Since his leave Garbador hasn’t been home for several years and is visibly nervous about his return home. Would he still be Great Chieftain of the clans? Or will he have to reclaim his place among the ranks? The journey takes a few days but they return, the clans are stirring with life after hearing about the return of the great Garbador… Unbeknownst to him, his achievements and feats have been well acknowledged while he was away, word spreads quickly to Landorus nowadays. “Brother, I should tell you… Since you left, we had to assign a new Great Chieftain… Until you returned, but I don’t think he’ll give it up easily to you.” – Groghar “Garb knew this, I betrayed the clans by leaving on my journey, it’s time I reclaimed my rightful place… Through blood and sweat, like my predecessors.” – Garb The villagers welcomed Garbador back home, and congratulated him on his adventures, however, Garbador stared toward the great hall, focused on getting there and doing what he must do. Garb bursts through the door, yelling “I have returned!”, giving off an echo and disrupting the current meeting. “So, it is true… Our great Chieftain Garbador does live, and hopefully so does his stories.” – North Clan Chief “I have not come to talk, only to reclaim my place… you know this. Where is he? Where is my father?” – Garb “Your father, our Great Chief that took your place when you left? I thought you knew…” – North Chief “Knew what? What happened?” – Garb “He died in battle, weeks ago, … He went to save you after we heard of your attempted battle with Prince Aegnor…” – South Clan Chief” Garbador lays his head low in respect and raises back up. “Then it’s destiny… My return was tied to fate… Chiefs… Gather our warriors… We need to make a visit to our family in Landorus.” – Garbador Garbador and his clans begin the travel to Landorus, meeting up with Regor and his Bloodguard at the gates. “Regor… Long time no see. We have a request of you and your Militia.” – Garbador “Ah, Great Chieftain of the clans has returned to us… What is it that you’d like to request, Chief Garb?” – Regor “We’re planning an invasion… of Eras. We’re taking back that of which has been stolen from us… Our freedom and safety among this realm… I am not the only one, my friends of which many of my travels have been with will be joining and so will their races.” – Garbador “We have enough to deal with here Garbador, can’t you see that we are protecting what’s left of Landorus?” – Regor “And they’ll keep coming… Increasingly until your home is enveloped by death… There needs to be an Era of peace Regor. What best time than now, when the alliances are coming together and bringing an end to this war. – Garb Regor nods and sends a messenger off to rally the troops. “Very well… I shall join you on this journey and bring peace to our land and home…” – Regor Garb nods in response, “Thank you Regor… I’ll find a way to repay you after this is all over. But for now, I must head back and devise a plan with the rest of our friends…” – Garbador Garbador heads back to his friends for now, awaiting Regor and his clan’s arrival.
Chulkazdriin soars down into the marshes of Zalz, touching down in the temple grounds. Standing before him are the gathered druids of the local enclaves, led by Malick, and the dragonmen of Zalz behind their leaders, Chieftain Taelys and newly minted Starpriestess Fizzlewix. "My friends, thank you for coming. The times are growing dark, and all of us must band together against this demonic horde, lest we fall one by one." Fizzlewix giggles, not the least bit perturbed by this news. "Sounds like fun! Can we help them Taelys?" The Chieftain stands calmly, considering the options. This battle would cost a great many of his people their lives, yet to stand by and do nothing could cost them everything. "It would seem we have no choice but to leave our homes and fight with the warm bloods. We will aid you, dragon." The chieftain orders his forces to begin gathering supplies in preparation for the arduous march. Malick stepped forward. "Fellow druid, this is a dire threat, one which places us all in peril. Moreover, you and your friends saved us from the machinations of a certain star priest, and we have not forgotten our debt. You have our support as well." "Thank you, friends." said Chulkazdriin. "Our battles will be hard fought and won with much bloodshed, but your aid may well mean the difference between victory and defeat. Let us fight together, for the future of this world!" Hours later, soaring over endless desert, Chulkazdriin spots the cavern he is seeking. he flies in. Inside is an ancient blue dragon matron, Lymrith, Chulkazdriin's mother. With her are the other 10 oldest dragons of her brood. Her mate, the ancient blue dragon Nauzranthior. The Old Blue Dragon, sole survivor of Lymrith's first clutch, Grathyldydriin The Mature Adult Blue dragon, Chychellyara, the 4 Adult Blue dragons, Michaedriin, Naschulyara, Vaerlythreen, and Braelchior. And the 3 strongest of the Young Adult Blue Dragons, Kymniara, Vaermina, and Melisandrya. These dragons, unlike the rest of their chromatic brethren, were not strictly evil, and did in fact keep themselves informed about the goings on around them, and they knew that the demon invasion was not good for them. Chulkazdriin had shown them the events that had unfolded over the last few months, culminating with the release of Prince Aegnor. Chulkazdriin had enlisted them to help him stop the demon onslaught, and that is what these dragons intended to do. After all, There is no gold to be made from sitting idly by.
While we were on our journey to the southern swamps, Garbador and Chulky filled me in on all the misadventures of our friends, as well as stories of past friends who are no longer travelling with us. One story that particularly stuck out to me was that of Garbador and Sir Edward James being mistaken as demigods in Zaalz. Chulky shared that he planned to go there to recruit a former party member, who is now Zaalz’s new star priestess and as many of the forces there as she could muster. Garbador shared that if he was to go with him, he could probably get the rest of the army to join since they still think he is one of the demigods, but he needed to go north so he could enlist the help of our home tribes. I decided that since I am Garbador’s twin, it might be wise for me to go in his stead and act like my brother so that we could get more of the much-needed support for our siege on Eris. I told Chulky to go ahead and tell them that one of their demi-gods would soon arrive to confirm his message of disaster that was happening beyond their hidden borders; then I arrived about two days after Chulky left, making a grand entrance riding on Grewt and announcing my presence to everyone. “I have returned”! “Bad guys outside borders of Zaalz”! “Led by bad demon prince”! “More help needed”! “Who join me”!? My grand gestures and broken speech seemed to be enough to convince them, and the rest of the dragonborn army followed me back towards Eris, except for a few warriors who stayed behind to ensure the protection and peace of Zaalz.

Being fully blind now, continuing his atonement, allowed Zeekten to really focus on what's going to happen. The up coming battle is going to be fierce and he knew that they were going to need all the allies they could get. The Blackfist Monks were already with them, but there was another ally he could have join them from the North. The Silver Blades. The clan that broke off from the Blackfist to follow their own ways. The Blackfist and Silver Blades may not be on the best terms, but there was one factor Zeekten knew he could play on. Crux, his "brother" that had fallen by the hands of this threat.  Remembering his talks with Crux when there were together once again, he knew about where the Silver Blades' central location was. With the help of his two friends, Edward and Kiradin, they made their way East of Kursh. Once reaching what Edward and Kiradin described as circular clearing at the foot of the mountains, we stopped. After explaining that we were looking for a large tree that has a hollow inside, the summoning gong was found. Taking it back to the center of the clearing, Zeekten asked his companions to please head back to the start of the forest, he would be with them shortly. After hearing his friends leave, Zeekten knelt down and readied himself. Two gongs, a pause, then a third gong resonated throughout the forest. Placing the gong back down on the ground, Zeekten waited.  "How do you know of the summoning?" A voice sounded behind Zeekten. "From one who used to call me family, Master Affleck. From Crux..." Zeekten responded, pulling his white hood down off his head. Multiple murmurs and whisper were followed by his reveal. "You remember me, as I you, Zeekten Blackfist. Why have you summoned, and not Crux, one of our own." Master Affleck questioned. "Crux... perished in the fight against the Flame in Landorus. A demon of Prince Aegnor's force took him in revenge for his defeat." Silence followed Zeekten's announcement.  "And what would you have for us? Why the summoning?" "We are gathering forces. We are going to attack Eras, and defeat the demon Prince Aegnor. I wish for you to join us. To save the world from the Flame, to infiltrate Eras and defeat Aegnor, to have vengeance for my brother, one of your own, vengeance for Crux..." "And your blindness does not falter your resolve?" "My resolve is steadfast. My blindness is my atonement and I will not let it put a hamper on what needs to be done." the hardness in Zeekten's voice reaffirming his resolve. A hand reached out and helped Zeekten to his feet, turning him to the way he came from.  "Our ways may be different, but your cause and resolve are honorable. The Silver Blades walk with you this day Zeekten Blackfist. May we rid the world of the Flame. May we honor Crux. Go, let us defeat the demon Aegnor." With that, Zeekten made his way through the forest back to his two friends. Although he could not hear it, Zeekten knew he was not alone. His two friends awaited his return, looking to the forest. Their sight though, was not what they were expecting. A lone white figure approached them, followed by a sea of black. ALL of the Silver Blades were with him.

Excellent Work! The Party was successful in saving the realm, but were "rewarded" with an exile by The New King Benny to an island fortress in need of some work.
