Well, one of my Saturday games seems to be winding down, should probably be done in a month or two with good resolution. I think what I'd like to do is some variation of oWoD next after this game. I am an American in the Central Time Zone (CST) and think this game will be afternoon/night when(if) it gets going. Now, you will find a few ideas here but you will not find ideas for: Mage: the Ascension, Mummy: The Resurrection, Wraith: the Oblivion/Orpheus, Demon: the Fallen, nor several subtypes connected to them. Onward! V20 Ideas Anarchs: Different from Camarilla and Sabbat, this would be a game set in some kind of Anarch free state (probably San Fran or maybe even Canada), which will make Clan selection different, present different challenges, and show the hypocrisy of the Anarchs when dealing with other vampires which don't espouse their values. Closest to a Camarilla game without heavy editing I'll offer. Alternate Meta: Basically the Dark Ages versions of clan structure (High and Low Clans) along with some homebrewing and different clan/bloodline choices. Most likely this would take place in a very large location (New York City, Mexico City, Toronto, etc). This will be highly reliant on choosing alliances carefully and backing the right people (or being the right person) along with Clan/Bloodline ties. Just think Carthage in New York. Thin Bloods: Willing to do this as a Camarilla game, but the players would either be ghouls or thin-blooded (14th/15th generation) vampires. Not saying you need to stay that way, not saying you need to stay in one place, but wherever it goes it'll be more dangerous. You'll need to find a niche somehow and survive in a world where certain vampires think you herald Gehenna. Low-powered V20 fun. W20 Ideas Disparates: Outcasts, whelps, miscreants, maybe worse. This would be a tale of redemption amongst werewolves and perhaps a single shifter or two (Nuwisha, Corax, and Gurahl especially). What have you done to be joined in this odd pack, were you a Black Spiral that ran away before the ceremony, a ronin without tribe, a Skin Dancer who seeks solace, or did your ancestors do something that made you unwelcome among them? Looking for werewolves who, through breed or deed, have to clear their names or at least make them synonymous with something besides failure. Think an anti-Silver Pack if you would. Hengeyokai: I like the Beast Courts. I like the fact many shifters can work together without much bickering or anything beyond what you'd find in a particularly polite Vampire court game. Most likely to be set in China or Hong Kong it would be based on internal politics, the corruption of mortal waste, and enough Pentex machinations to be just as disturbing as normal. Single Shifter: Not werewolves, I would prefer - Ananasi, Bastet (Ajaba counted), Mokole, or maybe Ratkin. The plot would heavily depend on which Breed was chosen (Bastet and Mokole might need more of a push while Ananasi depend on typing, etc) and what character types were played. Generally a fight the Wyrm, cripple the Weaver, go Gaia plot. Changeling: The Dreaming idea Chivalrous Arrangements: San Francisco, a land that has been in surplus and want since the 2015 push for equality. The marriage of Kings Victor and William was prosperous for quite some time, the dual rulership of Seelie and Unseelie actually working well in a system of aligned courts. That was until last year, when Victor was found dead. Now, as winter looms close and the appointment of a new Seelie ruler on the rise the mourning King William sweeps the courts for those who cared about his husband and those who can find the truth before winter ends and the Unseelie rule ends thanks to some new heir. Hunter: The Reckoning (as offer) I do not have a secure idea, because that highly depends on the types of Creeds chosen. Just know I am lenient on Hermits and Waywards. Kuei Jin Idea Generational Gap: Set in New York or perhaps Los Angeles, the current generation of Kuei Jin rising you are from are all second and third generation Americans. You have been thrust into new lives that now call to you, that of the Kuei Jin, the way you follow, the court you belong to, and the group you've been formed into. Your mentors make your parents and grandparents look like they gave gentle hints about how your life should be in the face of these new pressures. Courtly politics, spiritual worlds, and cultural clashes will be the main focuses. Middle Children (as offer) This depends on what is chosen, but I'm pretty confident in offering a game with Ghouls/Revenants, Mortals ala Hunters Hunted 2, and could perhaps do one with the Possessed or Fomori books along with Kinfolk if a good enough plot was slung my way. Besides that this is how I know the source material: V20 - Started rping in V:tM, and know it very well. Like, rules lawyer-y well sometimes. W20 - I'm okay at this, done more than a few games but I will need the book up most likely and will not shrug off help. C:tD - Ran one game, and a one shot at that. Have all the books available but this will be a simple campaign. H:tR - Ran for about five years straight. I tend to homebrew some and love delving into the high Conviction/Madness vs Determination plotlines. KotE - See Changeling except for three sessions. Middle: Know everything well except for Kinfolk that I have offered. Note this game will most likely be started late April to early/mid-May and onward most likely as the current game has to end and then I need to settle some things. The game will be voice only (either Discord or Skype) and either weekly or every other week, most likely around afternoon to evening my time.
