Legion of Super-Heroes Game

The Legion of Super-Heroes game takes place in the 30th century, it is a combination of super-heroes and high technology where interplanetary travel is the norm. The game is one of my own design and I have developed enough material to play test it. I thought this would be a great place to find interested players. This play test will be on going campaign which will revolve around several missions. It will not be a few games, finish the mission and the campaign ends. I plan on making it a permanent gaming group. I'll be using Skype (most likely) for communicating with players. I will run a battle map with miniatures in order to keep careful track of the combat. The game system is still in its works so rules would be added , removed or changed as time goes on. I would provide all of the characters based on the rules developed. There will not be any re-boot character's allowed as I am using the original Legion which started in 1958. You will receive both characters from me along with the Combat rules and other necessary gaming rules. So far I have 2 players, the characters Ferro Lad, Element Lad, Saturn Girl and Dawnstar are reserved. This game is one of my own design, it will take place during the Bronze age (1970's comics) Superboy starring the Legion of Super-Heroes comic run. I would like to recruit 3-4 players to participate in a game. Each player will select two Legionnaires from the comic books to play. The two Legionnaires of your choosing will be in separate groups and we switch back and forth from them. You will have a character in each group so you will be playing 100% of the time. The plots developed may involve both groups approaching the story line from separate angles or both involved in separate missions, it can go either way. If your interested in joining this group please notify me here or at my email address MyLegionofSuperHeroes@gmail.com Thanks for showing an interest and good gaming to all.
Its good but I suggest using M&M 3rd edition most people have played it. The stats for most DCU characters are already premade for you.
A.I. said: Its good but I suggest using M&M 3rd edition most people have played it. The stats for most DCU characters are already premade for you. Agreed. hit The Atomic Think Tank and you'll find writeups for nearly any character you can think of for M&M. I borrowed shamelessly last M&M I was in to make my own version of Beast Boy, and to find villains worthy of my PCs.
So, are you still accepting new players?
Gary I beg you yourself to do for your system what John Reyst did for Mutants and Masterminds Third Edition. www.d20herosrd.com Basically have all the system's up to date rules available at all times for all players. Why use the evil that is Skype? http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/688 For the lowest common denominator factor I recommend going with roll20's built in voice. Everyone who has Roll20.net has voice already! Join the Roll20.net elite power users and get your tokbox working! Unfortunately for this I do not have step by step troubleshooting on hand to help you get the built in voice up and running. sorry The LFG listing: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/9971/legion-of-super-heroes-rpg-homemade-system-requiring-play-testing Gary your topic is insufficient according to the guidelines specified in https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/125605/information-that-should-be-in-your-posts-title#post-170926 Topic should have also included the system name (Homebrew) and the time (3:00 AM Sunday morning GMT) I hope this helps, yay Super Heroes!
