Gifting - Splitting a purchase.

Fifty dollars is sometimes a lot for players to drop. (and GMs!) I have several players in my campaign that recently got ... teleported from another realm to the Sword Coast. The maps and tokens in R20's SKT module would be VERY helpful in giving them the content they deserve. However, I really wish I could have a way to split a purchase between everyone in the game. $10 between 5 people is a lot easier to swallow.
Paypal works great for this, just have everyone send the money that way, as its just the GM that really needs it and then can just share via handouts.

I didn't see any mention about players pooling resources to purchase as a group in the first few pages. Is that on there? Edit: to be clear, what I am thinking of is something similar to "split the check" that some delivery places do. (see: http://www.papajohns.com/payshare/ )
Unlike a pizza, which is consumed and gone, this is permanent access to a module, an art pack, etc. For access rights, it must belong to one and only one user who the system sees as the purchaser. If GMs were allowed to use gifted funds to purchase modules, add-ons, tokens, etc., that would address this better, IMO.

True, but the idea is to "gift" a module or token set with the existing gift option, just pay for it differently. Roll20 crowdfunding for GM gifts, yeah?
