Yeah, as the title says, one of the people that is not the DM doesn't see the fog of war at all, and can see all my mappy secrets. Anybody else have a player that can see everything? My other players see black as they are supposed to.
This may have been posted while you were typing up this post, but it's probably related to this: <a href="http://community.roll20.net/discussion/481/known-issue-fog-of-wargrid-max-size" rel="nofollow">http://community.roll20.net/discussion/481/known-issue-fog-of-wargrid-max-size</a>

huh. The map sizes in question aren't all that large. And the canvas sizes are the default. Grids are not on.
Hm. Well, can you give me more information about the player in question, then? Specs of their computer would be especially helpful (OS, browser version, RAM, etc.)

Windows 7 Japanese version 4gig ram most recent version of google chrome
Are they still having this issue? I made quite a few changes to the fog of war mechanic so it may be fixed. If not, I'll put together a test case to make sure it's not his canvas tag not working at all or something like that...

so, any further testing?
im having the same problem, one of my players (also windows 7 and latest chrome, but dont think its japanese) isnt seeing the fog of war at all.
Could this be an issue with how Chrome renders the fog of war?

It does seem to be browser related. I got him to switch to Firefox for our sessions and FoW works with that. I run it on Chrome myself though :p
Now its happening on my computer, though I just switched to a new (worse) one, and it only seems to be backfiring on netbooks? I'm going to try it on firefox and see if that helps. edit: wow, it just wont work at all in firefox. whole thing isnt working. got an error about a script may have stopped responding? (script: <a href="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/1.7.1/jquery.min.js:4" rel="nofollow">https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/1.7.1/jquery.min.js:4</a> )but yeah i think theres a problem with netbooks?
