I am looking for 4 players that can attend a campaign weekly starting with 3:00PM GMT and ending at 7:00PM GMT on Friday. For starters you will need to be able to play each week and own a microphone. I am using 2nd edition but the system is heavily homebrewed. If you wonder what I change the answer is "a lot", starting with spells ( replaced memorization with a basic spell cap per day ), spell saving throw mod, ability scores influence characters in a bit of a different way, I don't use THA0 nor negative AC, instead I chose a more 3rd edition-like system with bonuses to hit and increasing AC. If that is not enough information for you then you can always PM me and I will send you the whole modified ruleset. We will play a "sandbox" type game, there is no set goal, no detailed zone map but rather than that a huge world map and a bunch of ways in which I will create "content" and enrich the lore of the world as we go. This is the 3rd group that I will be running but I am by no means an experienced GM and English is not my native language, as you can probably tell from this write-up, thus it might take some time for me to muster up my words and the way I will formulate certain phrases might sound a bit off. If you have not played DnD before that will not be a problem, in my experience new players turn out to be just fine most of the times. However, and this is the biggest thing that I want from players, you need to be able to communicate and enjoy speaking up, I understand that entertaining a conversation with strangers might be awkward or not enjoyable for certain people but ,the way that I run my campaigns, RP is the focus in many situations and with only 4 people I cannot have 2 people doing all the talking and the other 2 being silent observers. Please make sure that you are comfortable and most of all that you enjoy being talkative both in character ( when fitting, of course ) and outside of character. If you have no problem with the above and the idea of this campaign tickles your fancy I encourage you do give it a shot. I require all possible players to send me a backstory for a character, this can be the character you might end up using in the campaign or simply a random character that will never be used or maybe get introduced as a random NPC at some point to give the world some complexity. You can pick whatever race and origins you like but try and keep the setting pretty "typical". If you have any questions ask away or send me a PM.
