The Age of Gods is rumored to be in its final winter. Monsters and fiends spring up from the earth, with almost no one to contest them since many of the gods have been killed in the All-Consuming War or have fled the Material Plane altogether . The remaining God-Kings cling desperately to their demesnes, scraping for power as the people's faith fades. Mortals now vie openly for power against the corrupted systems of their ageless lieges. The last of the old gods, Tevan the Great Tempest, has emerged from hiding away on his island to lead his soldiers against a rebellion from the powerful wizard who calls himself Mage-King Eleutherios. This conflict's end unknown, a cunning group of thieves seeks shelter on the mainland, having already lost friends in the ripples of this war. When they arrive, they find the victors of the last great war, and discover that there are some aspects of life from which one can't easily flee. Sessions will begin at 12 PM CDT / 7 PM CEST on Saturdays. Session length is 4+ hours. This game is our passion, so we stop when we're all ready to do so. Players will need access to a webcam and microphone, without exception, as they will be used for the game. The game will contain mature content, with violence and adult themes being handled in a mature manner. Due to this, all applicants need to be over the age of 18. The genre will be Sword & Sandal—violent fun in the Bronze Age—with moderate-to-heavy role-play.
