Just to echo, no key combination on my Chromebook (trackpad, but manually clicking), seems to result in an ellipse, either. This is not a problem for me, just wanted to verify the situation.
Hello Everyone, We're aware that this is an issue with devices where you can't use the shortcut keys to toggle between squares and ellipses. Ideally, what we need is to include a new submenu toolbox button that allows you to choose between ellipses and squares so if you're locked out of that keyboard shortcut, you still have access to the tool. We just have been running on limited development resources to implement this (which is why we're in the process of hiring more staff currently ). This is one of those issues where we can hopefully address when we have more developers on staff.
