Starting DnD 3.5e campaign Details inside!

I am going to be starting a new 3.5e campaign as DM. Here is a bit of information about the campaign. -will utilize puzzles and boss fight mechanics. - flexible story line shaped by the players! (no railroad tracks) - Full detailed environment map/tokens. (no stick drawings) - Music for each map and battle no matter how small. (If you like anime and video games you might recognize a lot of these) - I am looking to play 1-2 times a week with a schedule that works for all the players - Balance of RP and combat with puzzle and hidden paths/rooms/loot etc. - Skype required Story setting God's are not exactly something human's can understand. While they seem to have divine powers and abilities, they are limited in what space and time they can exist in and how much they can effect a certain realm. The realm of Earth is a vital point in the war of the gods, however, no god is able to exist in this realm and thus rely on the strength and abilities of humans to act on their behalf. A group of a champions are chosen and set off on a journey to make sure that the gods who wish to harm the realm of earth are not in a position to win the war of the gods. As the champions strengthen themselves they play a significant role that influences the outcome of the war of the gods. Harsh trials and encounters with those who wish to see the world burn are inevitable. Will you rise and become kings or even join the ranks of the gods themselves? Will you fall to the hands of those who serve evil? Only one way to find out! And lastly I will add that this campaign will be a bit difficult. I would prefer to have a group of experienced player but having a new player or 2 would be fine. Bosses will have mechanics similar to that of raid encounters of mmorg's. Puzzles will be difficult to solve and provides rewards that will be of great help. If you are looking for a challenge and a unique story with custom maps, this is for you! What time zone are you and what is your experience DMing?

EST but i can play on any schedule and I have DM'd Two groups on roll20. This would be my 3rd group but i learned really fast :)

Sounds good I can play on thursdays. Ive been playing pathfinder but began playing 3.5. I would like to play a scout/ranger ranged based character if possible. Willing to play whatever is needed. With the issues mythweavers is having I would prefer to just link you to my sheet using google drive if thats ok. Expect any character of mine to have a rich but goofball/oddball backstory.

Well, if you don't take on Kevin and still need another, I guess I would be willing to join you. Does the campaign start this Thursday or next? Also, what RP/Combat split are you aiming for? 75/25, 50/50, 25/75?

Eh, yeah, sorry. I don't think I would be a good fit. I generally try to stick to at least 50/50 splits on RP. Good luck though man and thanks for the info.

Sorry, I have just been having a hard time finding a group that meets the kind of playstyle I like. I don't want to have you take me over someone else who really wants to play, only to have me end up quitting. You know? I only even ask the split question because it gives me a very basic idea of what it will be like to play with the DM.

Hi, I'm Octave, 22, and I would like to join your campaign. My D&D campaign has just finished and I need a new one to fill my need for RPG ;) I usually play wizards because i like to be the group know it all :p My schedule is rather flexible ! Let me know if you have an opening for me ;)
