Looking to get back into d&d after a long absence, and trying to get into 5th edition at the same time. I've DM'd 3.5, SWRPG and a lot of 4e through the years, but I'm not confident yet on starting a completely homebrew story. What I can offer: - Friendly, open-minded, yadda, yadda... Not the worst person to spend 3 hours weekly on voip with. - Even if the campaign says one thing, I like to play around with different ideas, open up possibilities and going with what my party wants to do. - Beginner friendly. I've played with beginners on many of my campaigns, and I have no qualms about teaching others and/or learning together. - The campaign is not set, and I have a decent array of options to choose. If the party wants combat, I've got combat. If they want infiltration, I've got that too. If they want RP, I want it too :) What I ask: - A bare minimum of punctuality. Running a campaign, even if it's premade, takes a lot of work. When the party is set, I'll probably be going pro on roll20 too, so it'll take my money too. If I'm spending my time and money on the game, I'd want my party to free up those 3-4 hours weekly and make a compromise. I can understand if an emergency keeps a player from joining once or twice, but not if something happens every week. - Enjoy the game.
